I REALLY NEED B42 SO BAD

The menu was changed quite a bit. I don't have much time for more side projects right now. However if anyone wants to expedite that, feel free to reach out to commission a B42 version.

In my experience, for build 42 enabling it results in the title screen loading without buttons.

only problem i found with this mod it deleted ur weapons from ur character after dying. Probably for exploiting on mulitplayer servers but for just playing with friends its kind off unrealistic and kind of a bummer finding a turned character with not his " favorite " gun

@Shrimpins idk if it was the most recent update, but this is not an issue. It may be another mod giving you an issue.

Improved Hair Menu is the mod most likely making this one not show up in CC.

You have to select the right mod module in mod selection to see the 2 gun option.

I literally thought to myself yesterday that I wish there was a loadout mod like this where I could spawn with 2 guns, and then you update it to do exactly that, thank you

I never realized how nice it was to drop in with loaded mags until I used this mod. I was bummed at first that it didn't play nice with the hair menu mod, but I just make and save my characters and then go back and swap that mod for this one and go. It's an extra 30seconds of trouble that I don't mind. Once I got my BIL used to it, It became one of his favorite mods too.

This mod used to work with Brita's Armor Pack and I would be able to fully kit my player before spawning in, but that seems to have gone away. Any ideas?

revolver update: i'm an idiot. i had the crafting menu open. that's why it was doing random stuff like unload boxes of ammo

update: so haven't had an issue reloading a .357 revolver when i only picked 1 box of ammo

I'm running Firearms B41 https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/?id=2256623447 and am also having issues reloading my starter revolver with .357 rounds. If i clear and then remap the "reload" key to "R" it works again. If i don't, it unboxes all the stating ammo boxes

@Reits think you can make addon mod? i, too, would love to see what you're suggesting.

So, I've confirmed that it is possible to make an additional sidearm version of this mod if you're willing to do a little analysis + copy-paste + minor name change of the copied parts in the lua files. Whether or not the uploader wants to do it is a different matter entirely though (Please do it for the gun lovers mr. monkey man, sir. You just copy-paste the firearms parts and add a 2 to them to separate the weapons and their respective ammo and mags)

i like this mod, i only wish i could have one more choice, a sidearm. a rifle, a pistol, and a melee to start off with. this mod adds a little more realism for those that actually carry weapons everyday. good job.

There should be a option to chose your SECONDARY/BACKUP weapon after picking your main weapon. Main weapons would be all rifles and SMGs while backup secondary would be all melee and pistols. You will still have to put how many mags and ammo boxes you want for both weapons.

I can't see the 'choose melee' option, I was wondering if this was already known, And if you didn't, Here you go.

Try it out and let us know. I can't physically test compatibility with every mod out there.
