I've known the issue with the SPARK Breacher being too squishy, I'll need to do a rebalance to make the Breacher a bit more sustainability. This will be investigated in the next update.

Thank you so much! I loved this mod but with Larger LWOTC, the Spark Breacher is just so squishy. It has 0 defense so it gets bombarded the instant you can't kill every enemy. So i'm trying to make some fair but tougher sparks for LWOTC.

@Boisegangpc I've discovered this issue a fairly recently and I'm not sure why its happening. I'll atleast update the bugs section to mention this issue. Not sure when exactly this would be fixed.

The Conventional Breech-loading shotgun uses the proper animations, but the Mag-tier ones seem to use soldier animations which just contorts the spark skeleton into something extremely unsettling.

Nope, no quote marks. I ended up just adding the upgrades as a buildable item through the INI.

@Justice Dankula I remembered a mod that had a similar issue and console command patch. I updated the mod with that system and a small test showed it worked, put "KPPForceSPARKUpgrade" in your console and it should unlock the next tier for both weapons.

@Justice Dankula Unless I can find something that causes this issue, there will likely be no solution proper solution for now. If I can get a console command to solve this issue, it will be in the next update.

@Justice Dankula I keep getting reports of the SPARK Breacher and SPARK Guardian's weapons not being able to be upgraded, but every time I test it, they work perfectly.

Do you have a single weapon crafting system installed? That is currently my only guess to what could be causing the problem.

Ran this on a new save, but the shotgun and heavy machine gun do not have any upgrades. The other SPARK weapons from other mods upgrade fine. Shame cuz the classes themselves are really really cool.

Yeah man. Unless you already somehow "KNOW" unreal script its impossible lol. I know a bit of C++ and Python... and a few script languages from modding other games but this one is by far the most "technical" because its so dam old

@MalteseFalchion I have currently been on a dry spell, not encouraged as much to work on mods right now, but I do plan on coming back to work on some new projects and that is on the list of things I want to do.

Short Answer: At some point yes, but probably not anytime soon.

@Haydern From a bit of looking, Mechatronic Warfare should work instead of the Mechatronic Warfare Perk Pack, just make sure you dont have both of them installed. Just keep in mind that the majority of Mechatronic Warfare will mess with the normal SPARK Class instead of the custom ones added by this mod.

In short: Make sure you do not have Mechatronic Warfare Perk Pack installed if you use the normal Mechatronic Warfare mod, otherwise there will be conflicts.

@scarlett Starting a playthrough with Covert Infiltration without the compatibility patch then adding it mid patch, I am unsure I would be able to do anything about that.

If you added it by the time you already acquired Mag/Beam Weapons then I believe you have hit the point of no return and you'd have the patch beforehand.

@scarlett I thought I fixed the issue that caused the weapon to not be able to be upgraded. I'll have to go back through the code and check it since it has been a while since I worked on the project.

Just make sure you have bought the Mag/Beam SPARK Rifle and if you are running Covert Infiltration, run the compatibility patch.

I am having the same issue with there being no upgrades for the Breacher and Guardian weapons. Very unfortunate as the Breacher has my favorite playstyle but is unsuable past FL 10 lol

Take your time and do whatever you feel like. Your mod is still a staple in my current mod setup and both SPARK classes are very fun to use. I also looked into the files and tinkered with some setting myself.

@Worgan_Freeman I have spent a long time designing the class as I intended, but never have gotten much field testing due to how many projects I keep working on. The class is meant to be more of a "snowball design", as the later you get the more severe power increase it gains, but I can see the problems with this in general.

I might plan on doing some improvements for the SPARK Breacher whenever I get to working on the SPARK abilities for my perk pack.

I feel like the SPARK Breacher is wayy to squishy since the AI always focuses the SPARK unit. With 0 defence, picking up the Shelter Protocol ability feels mandatory and even then your unit goes down really quickly unless you always position it in a way where enemies dont have LOS (which is difficult if the SPARK needs to be in close quarters to do damage). Which also means that you need to be smart with your AP for movement but with the constant need to reload your 1 ammo shotgun, it feels like skilling into full autopistol is a much more effective way overall

For me the class feels like a inferior version of the SPARK Artillery from the other proficiency SPARK plugin. High single target damage but the Artillery punches through cover, has really high aim and can stand far away from the enemy.

As of the most recent update, the issue involving the SPARK Breacher's Shotgun (and the SPARK Guardian's HMG) should be fixed.

Every other spark weapon is working fine ( even the Iridar Spark Arsenal ) :steamhappy:

And then I Somehow managed to do something with the WSR but in the end I'd didn't work out
So I was forced to Resubscribe :steamsad:

Don't know where is the problem

Hi there , I need help

Don't know why but the Shotgun for the Breacher class don't upgrade ( I mean the weapon )
Even when I have the Magnetic Weapons or the Beam , they are still the same

I trying to fix it with config edits , but not worked ( and I tryed to resubscribe but still don't work ) :steamsad:

@Caballero No Muerto This is likely due to a previous issue with the mod, if you save is prior to the February 26th update and you already unlocked Magnetic before the patch, it most likely will not be fixable without a new campaign.

I haven't had a long term campaign since the release of this mod, so I currently don't properly know if everything works for the Breacher's primary.

I cant upgrade the breacher shotgun to either magnetic or plasma, i know it should automatically upgrade but all my sparks have plasma weapons except for the breacher with the shotgun

@cubby The Magnetic Breacher Shotgun should upgrade automatically when the Magnetic Spark Rifle is purchased, same for the Magnetic Heavy Machine Gun.
