Genetically modified plants could also work with said threading, being able to grow more, or grow plants on areas you wouldnt be able to normally.
Using said created beasts to grow oil like the whaling stations.
Little things like that.
People are always welcome to make submods, though!
For myself I just added the following under the existing check so that it doesn't need the industry ban too:

On the flip side maybe there's an argument to be made for making a similar law for mechs and adding the same to the mech buildings files.

Comparing it to the original 00_graphics file it seems to be an out of date version, I have no idea why you need to overwrite it anyway - maybe you should list all overwrites in the description? This would help users to make modlists and identify compatibility issues as well.
