if only there's an option to set the time of day or dawn at start, can edit parameters in singleplayer scenario and underground facility raids.

either way replayability 10/10 it's just my eyes hurt using NVGs:steamthis::steamthumbsup:

@Kingzback Yes, the player role has Zeus access. Just press Y and you should be able to edit your squad

New version for Halloween 2024 is OUT! This major update includes new support for the FAP Zetaborn Alienz mod, TTS Emissions (Blowout) mod, as well as 3 new types of ‘spook events’ and 8 more spooky sounds to creep you out on mission! More importantly, this mission was totally refactored with a new function system which results in a much more stable mission and serious performance improvements. There were also small bugfixes and quality-of-life additions added. See the scenario changelog a complete list of updates and changes and have a Happy Halloween!

Just uploaded a major new update for 0.14 that adds in several requested features. This is a summary of the changes and additions with the full changelog in the mission Steam Workshop "Change Notes" section:

Multiple Objectives: DHO can now spawn multiple objectives per play session, from 1 to 4, or randomize the number within the MP mission parameters. For SP, the number of missions is always randomized from 1-3

Enemy Faction Selection: The enemy factions are now selectable in two different ways: The first is a “theme” category that will select enemy units from the loaded mods that are relevant to the theme. The second way is by selecting the specific mods to load yourself with the bottom three drop downs (follow the listed instructions for it to work!).

Enemies No Longer Fight: Added functionality so they now consider themselves friends and no longer fight each other. HUGE shout out to Drongo and DevourerKing for helping me to get these units playing nicely!

@Eagle I'll be adding a parameter to select just 1 or 2 mods in the near future. For now, it just uses whatever mods are loaded, as you saw

When I hosted, I thought that you could add multiple of the recommended mods and it would pick one set to add, but ended up fighting zombies, aliens, skeletons, and the corporation all at the same time lmao

@loaf of peas This mission is not a fork of DRO, it's entirely coded by hand, so some of the cool DRO features are not in the mission, at least not yet. You can somewhat customize the mission via parameters at this time. Further mission customization is on the docket after bugfixes

@Darkshifty.Zero They are currently only used in the "Retrieval" and "Destroy" missions to add additional props. I will be adding in more atmospheric location spawns (i.e. Horror Mod body parts when you get nearer to the objective), but bugfixes have taken priority

@secarpentry What do you mean by "pick any faction"? The enemies will load depending upon what mods you have loaded and your arsenal is completely open to use any equipment you have

@RPG Jake This mission uses a points-based system to spawn enemies to provide a more balanced spawning experience. The wizard and brute, being significantly more difficult than the zombies, each count for 5-8 value, meaning the 40 points that <4 players get is eaten up pretty quickly.

To increase the number of enemies, try changing it to Nightmare mode in the parameters

@UselessFodder My buddy and I played with all the supported mods. Exactly 15 enemies spawned on nightmare difficulty. 1 was a wizard, and another was a brute of a sort, the rest were zombies and skeletons.
We know it was 15 since we made it a point to make sure everything was hunted down lol.
Other than increasing the enemy spawn count, more objective spawns would be great! Thanks!

Thank you, the bug is fixed. Now all variations show up for singleplayer. Haven't even needed to unsubscribe-resubscribe. =)

In the comments section of another variation of this scenario a question about changing friendly AI equipment was brought up. Do I get it right that currently it works like this: Team Switch (default button"U") to another teammate > go to Arsenal > change gear > repeat until done then switch back to the commander?

@Nord @SASIOVERLXRD Okay, SP tags have been applied to all missions and they are now accessible from the SP menu! You might have to unsubscribe and resubscribe to get them to show up.

I'm working on a way to allow the Mission Commander to select the AO, but its not a particularly small change to the AO generation so its going to take a bit. I'm really happy to have so many people trying the missions because its really helpful to see what new features people will value most!

@Nord @SASIOVERLXRD I discovered the issue was due to not adding the single player tag when publishing the other missions. I will push updates to those tonight or tomorrow that should make them show up in your SP menu. Thanks for bringing this to my attention!

Can confirm what @SASIOVERLXRD says - only those three missions (Stratis, Takistan, Bystrica) show up on "Singleplayer" menu. I've checked, and when I try to host a server and pick, for example, Chernarus, the mission shows up for Chernarus. I'd appreciate if they'd be all playable in singleplayer mode.

Other than that and aside from few minor bugs, these missions are great and I'm looking forward to what you'll do with the future development. =)

@SASIOVERLXRD Not exactly sure what you're asking, but you can access all of the currently released DHO missions (6 at present) in the collection linked just under the subscribe button. All of them are SP friendly (that's how I've done most of the testing :) )

@CatalysmUnabridged When you subscribe on Steam, the mission will go into your workshop folders. I prefer to use steamworkshopdownloader (dot) io to get the .pbo itself and then just upload that to the server

@Kingzback Currently you cannot select either of those. In the future it's planned to add the ability to select AOs, but the ability to select the number of AI enemies might be a pretty easy fix as just a scroll wheel selection for the Mission Commander. I'll look into this

@RPG Jake Thanks for the nice words! I'm definitely planning on making the AOs selectable by the players (once I can figure out how to do it!).

As for the number of enemies, I've found that it really depends on what mods you use because the spawning algorithm is weighted so harder enemies (Like the wizards in Empires of Old) use up more spawning 'slots' than just basic zombies and skeletons. I need to fine tune these numbers, so it would be really helpful to hear what mods you guys played with and how many enemies ended up spawning if you remember. Thanks again for trying it out!

@Axle Chaos is what happens! Seriously, it just expands the pool of enemies/spooks that can spawn during the mission. Some of them don't play well with others though!
