Thanks for the heads up, it seems that the Vanilla Expanded team has refactored the names of some of their classes, I'll have to dig through and update the class names referenced here

In same log also line 2329 is no longer present after removing mod. It looks like in VFE Pirates for 1.6 this node is now:

I think there is some incompatibility with VFE:

There is an XML error at line 2337 and it appears this is Def from this mod.
VFE Pirates has following Def for 1.6, it is different than for 1.5:

Issue is not visible in log after I have removed mod.

@Failure Stats are 185% sharp armor, 100% blunt armor, and 150% heat armor. The whole set gives 100% tox resistance, -0.4 move speed, +100% mech repair speed, +50% mech gestation speed, +20% mech work speed, +1 mech control group, and +22 mech bandwidth

Overall I believe the stats are worse than the later tier Alpha mechs warcaskets, since those come from the additional tiers added by that mod.

No worries I have other mods for the drafting issue and having other pawns temporarily isn’t a big deal.

@queenelise9830 You should be able to, although forming a caravan means that you won't have any pawns in your colony to draft in case of a raid - and you can't draft combat mechanoids if their mechanitor isn't on the map.

Also because of how warcaskets work you'd have to have a second pawn at least temporarily to actually build the warcasket onto your mechanitor.

THIS is what I've been looking for. A mod for warcaskets to do tasks without it being as easy as just making them able to do it. AND a mod that allows me to have a mechanical robot overlord like frickin General Grievous.

They shouldn't break each other, but since this mod uses a custom trait and not the normal Warcasket trait, Warcasket Can Work won't make any more work types available for the mechlord warcasket specifically

When a pawn is in the warcasket foundry they can't move to go and eat or gain recreation or anything, so you've got to be quick about building them.
Make sure you have all of the required materials for the warcasket available already in your colony, and preferably near the foundry. Then order another pawn to prioritize working at the foundry to get it done quickly.

Indeed, it works as EVA with SOS2. Also I've corrected the insulation values.

As far as I can tell, SOS2 patches the Warcasket base class to have the EVA stats, so it should work. I'll do some quick testing to make sure.

As for the insulation, this is just an oversight on my part and will be corrected.

Sos2 is now in 1.5 here on steam! they changed the eva tag for armors, so will this get the eva tag? would love if it does!

Is it deliberate that the Mechlord warcasket doesn't insulate as well as the other Spacer-tech caskets? While the others provide 80, 10 and 22 for the body, head and shoulders on each range respectively, the Mechlord casket only really seems to be circa the range of the Barrage casket.

As far as I know nothing in 1.5 should break it, I'll do some quick testing to make sure and persuade Rimworld that this is indeed the case.

I'm going to make a "Prestige Spacer Warcaskets" mod which will have integration with this. Its exam season so I don't have time currently, but probably in about 2 weeks.

Not currently, I may add a patch when SoS2 is updated to 1.4 on steam. I'm not sure I want to make a patch for the experimental branch.

Thanks, for making this it will replace my Bothced together version that I made my self after Biotech came out, I just used the base Stats of on of the other Warcaskets and added the Mechlord Stats.

In the future I plan to make a "Prestige Spacer Warcaskets" mod, which will include an extension for a prestige version of this one. No guarantees, but I expect to do that within the next few weeks.

Equipping heavy weapons seems to work for me. I believe the VWE - Heavy weapons mod checks if the armor is tagged as power armor, which this warcasket is. If it's not letting you equip a colonist in a mechlord warcasket with a heavy weapon, please let me know the steps you took to get there and I'll see if I can reproduce and fix the issue.
