@Von Schnitzel Thanks for the quick response.

I also try to stay away from tome mods. The Tome of Warlord was my first one to try out and I was wondering about any conflict with yours because I noticed some visual issue which became too annoying to me... I will check that with the mod author separately though.

@B4rt0cH4 I guess it is i don't use tome mods my self and i likely never will.

That note is about mods that make changes to base game tome units like for example things like rebalance mods, unless a tome mod modify any base game units which is unlikely every thing should be fine.

Is this mod compatible with the Tome of Warlord mod? I was reading the note in the description above but it’s not so clear to me… For me the game doesn’t crash but the two added units are just smaller than the rest of my faction.

@Dros Masks are a tricky thing unlike some other helmets where you bend a few bits making the mask fit is really difficult comparative but i may look in to it when i find time between projects.

@BloodyBill If i remembered correctly it was removed in the base game for some reason and is now just a broken link. In order to fix this i would have to depot download a much older version of the game and that takes time to do.

Ohh oke, yeahh I noticed when I use that mod some units dont wear helmets particular oathsworn unless I did something wrong, I do hope you atleast make hero edition compatible again :c or merge it into this, like the hoplite looking helmets are soo coool

@GrimoireODS No that mod is not part of this mod, long story short i abandoned the mod it was based on someone reached out to me wanting to make a submod i saw an opportunity to get work of my over encumbered sholders so i could focus on things i actually wanted to work on. This mod used to have its own version which was an ai player friendly version of it but it was split of into its own submod.

I have added some more anthro helmets
high shield helmet hero and unit
high support helmet
dark knight helmet
dark hero helmet
industrious maskman helmet
industrious bastion helmet and all hero variant

And finally added culture geomancers

@Míla It's not this mod its expanded cultural units, how do i know this because that mod haven't been updated in over a year so please next time actually make sure it is one of my mods and not someone else horrifically outdated and broken mod.

Also outdated tome mods with custom units are also a very likely culpred.

Just a tip if a mod hasn't been updated recently and the developer didn't say anything recently don't use it.

Hello, I am experiencing an extreme fps drop after a new turn began. I use this mod in combination with (in this order, only listing mods that have anything to do with this one):

tome mods
tome lore mod
expanded cultural units
culture tome units and anthro helmets
Late tier cultural units
LTCU: cultural extras
culture unit makeover: thematic addon

Do they conflict? I noticed the same issue mentioned so i wanted to meantion it too.

This mod does not work for me after GK. Can you say more about this instruction you left in your description:

"Please verify integrity of files steam workshop sometime doesn't update properly."

I tried this but it didn't fix the issue.

@Von Schnitzel I didn’t fight the battle myself — the issue occurred during the AI turn, so I’m not sure about the exact unit composition at the moment. Once I’m able to check, I’ll share the details in the Late Tier mod discussion thread. Thanks for the quick reply and clarification!

@speak_bucks This problem is not this mod but is likely late tiers Celestian doing this again, Im going to need an exact unit comp on both sides if possible also continue this in the Late Tier mod bugs discussion not hear as it likely have nothing to do with this mod.

It seems that there's an issue where auto-resolved battles do not end properly.
I am using the mods you created: LTCU and Outlaw Culture.
The "endless battle" issue appears to occur when using Race: Elf and Culture: High.
Please check and look into this.

@Michy No and i don't think it ever will for 2 reasons 1. need to create a lot of custom texture modifications and 2. it's not a racial unit that makes it difficult to apply culture modifier so it knowes what culture it belongs to this is why iron golem sub mod no longer include culture iron golems.

I have a bug with the feudal culture. If you put the second (2) alternative skin of the troops, then the standard bearer on the mount is flattened. It seems like this standard bearer is from one of your mods for new units

I have decided to move the set function away from this mod in to its own sub mod so as to allow me to use it more as a asset plugin for my other mods to keep file size down across the board.

@The Speaker If the game is lagging like crazy you must i repeat you must verify integrity of files because worksop didn't update properly i'm going to have to repeat this for months.

I'm having the same frame rate issue. For me it seems to be tied to the new Von Mod Dlc Content, but I can't comment this on those pages because comments are disabled.

if this was done by the devs or implemented by the devs it would be done worse and with less options. like how the new body morphs only have like 6 verients when the mod called body slider has like 8 or 10

@skaz88 Worked when i tested, Its likely a load order issue you are likely using some other mod that modify that units modularity try loading this mod last.

@Nuke87654 When i said something small i was referring to a thing like making a set that replaces mystic maces with swords or something that don't require maintenance. What you are asking for however require a lot lot of maintenance and will tack a lot of time i would rather spend on things i would enjoy working on.

So answer is no.

@Azzaret Your load order is likely the problem hear as all cultures have warbreed but not all the sets do, load the mod at the bottom of your loade order should fix it.

@TesLife You and your friend should both verify integrity of game files one of you have a improperly update mod this is common.

A general piece of advice when playing modded multiplayer copy mods in the workshop folder from one computer and past them in the Documents/Paradox Interactive/Age of Wonders 4/Mods folder then send the mods you just copied in to that folder to your friend this prevents any and all possibilities of different versions between you and your friend it also prevent auto updates just make sure you load the version of the mod that isn't the workshop (if it say show workshop page when you click the button that look like this ... then it is the wrong one and loade the other one).

Hey, love the mod, however last update broke smth and we and my friends cant connect anymore, says "internal error". we checked all other mods and its this one. We played just fine with it before update yesterday. Hope you can fix it :3
