Why is it impossible to get a clan weapon like RAC/10 (C) or RAC/20 (C)?

Update, Made a new save, cheated A CERPPC to test and Firing it generated 3 Million Heat. . .

Came back after a while and all the weapons are bugged, CERS is asking for ammo, CERPPC has no visual effect, Generates heat, and does no damage

Noting this for documentation:
A Misleading comment about an update leading to crashes was deleted as to not confuse other users.

If u install this mod correctly, which basically means don't mess with the load order of this or other mods, it'll work just fine.

i could troubleshoot it on my own in 15-20 minutes and i will
mostly just put that there as a warning
ill get back with info if i figure out the conflict(s?)

CTD is not due to YARW as it boots up fine on my end along with other users with the current update. Issue likely stems from using another mod that is incompatible, outdated or your load-order is screwed up.

It would be best to troubleshoot the issue on the Yet Another MW5 Server Discord.

The RACs still fire in full-auto and the laser colors haven't changed recently at all. They did have their asset names swapped to derive from YAWC, but this will revert back next update.

Reason was for a planned compatibility patch with another mod, but this was scrapped. At least for the time being.

Really awesome mods overall my group is fully swapping over for our play troughs. I am curious as to why the RAC's are not full auto anymore, and why the clan lasers are color swapped? I miss my pink beams of death. I am guessing it was seen as unimportant or a personal choice for the lasers.

Any chance for you to add YAWC hag sounds and plasma cannon sounds to this?
Also Plasma rifles and cannons could use the same visual effects as the once found in YAWC.

No, the SB lasers are removed entirely, replaced with regular lasers, which have a short-burst fire mode.
Thats all SB stands for, short burst

UAC/20 (C) issues were fixed in the latest build. This is documented in the change-log, but this is a worrying issue caused by the editor, in which things are not linking correctly to their files/stats.

Short-Burst Lasers are just duplicates of the laser type they're based off of. They work exactly the same and start in "normal mode" while being able to be swapped to "short-burst" mode. This is why they are "disabled" from spawning by the default Mod-Options settings. They are perfectly fine to use if acquired but are completely redundant.

bug with the UAC/20 (C), instead of firing a rapid burst it instead fires a very slow 12rpm "burst"

@Russel Coight: Assuming YAW + YAWC are not installed and all three YARW, YARWC and YARW_Essentials are, then I would have to guess something didn't update correctly. Steam is notorious for doing this unfortunately and it would be worth "resubscribing" to all of the applicable Yet Another Series of mods.

Other wise it sounds like the load-order is screwed up, which since this is from Steam, would likely mean a Load-Order Manager? If you are using one, do note that basically all of them are likely to cause more issues than help, but the short explanation of that is they screw up important load-orders.

I'm having an issue where most of the weapons are missing from the mechlab. I go into instant action and select a mech, but when I go to the ballistics, melee, or energy weapons tabs a significant number of them are missing. No gauss weapons, no PPCs, no melee weapons whatsoever.

I have YARW, YARWC, YARW_Essentials, YAML, YARQE, and all DLCs except Dragon's Gambit and Solaris. YAW and YAWC work fine when they're activated alone.

@ATStrategist A patch is on the way to fix the TOI cluster logic file in the base YARW. This may be whats causing this issue, but expect a new release for YARW + YARW Clan sometime today.

when i use this mod, all arena missions disapear from the starmap
