This worked, thank you very much. Totally forgot about load order!

@Darren

Thanks for the feedback! To get the specific culture/faction UI working as shown, make sure my mod is loaded above all DEI mods in the load order. This should fix the issue. Let me know if you encounter any other problems!

Hey great work, just wondering if anything needs to be done to get the specific culture/faction UI, like in screenshot 11, 56 and 59. I played as Rome, and all the icons is there but I don't see the province UI changing nor the political UI. The button colours change though. I don't have any mods on that affect the campaign, just DEI and some battle graphics mods.

Hi, I've been using this mod for several months and enjoy that classical vibe it gives to the screen as opposed to the vanilla modern UI, good job!
I have a few suggestions for improvements though:
- The UI image for victory capture points seems to be non-existant
- It is very difficult to tell if some UI buttons are 'active' e.g. when deploying a spy on the campaign map it's very difficult to see if the deploy button is already depressed or not. Similar for other buttons such as melee toggle button for ranged units
- Some building icons are so generic-looking that I can't tell what they are. This has affected me mainly when spying on enemy settlement buildings as I can't mouse-over the building icons to see details. Maybe just a small tab of colour in the corner of each image that corresponds to the vanilla colour code for building types would be helpful

Very nice UI! But for Rome I'd reduce the transparency of the stats menus/pop-ups a little or/and use a darker background color to increase the contrast with the text and make it more readable.

Hi can you also darken the fonts on the faction page under the important characters? also the summary, politics, characters, and records? This UI is the best and I think will make it better with those things clearly readable. Iโ€™m playing Rome faction btw. Thanks for your work.

Hallo, in the Spartan UI the city names in the province browser are hard to read. Maybe gold instead of white would be a good idea?!?
empollONE 2 Mar, 2024 @ 5:27pm
@Menumorut Hey ! Yeah I agree totally with what you say, maybe the "dullest" groups were the barbaric ones, since the relying on basic materials without any access to strong paint for their works like figures, statues, etc. In the other corner we got Italics, Hellenics and Phoenician descendants, working with strong dyes like tyrian purple, royal blue, etc. So I agree with you on that.

What I meant more was about the style of the buttons per se, rather than the choice of colors, since blue is a fine choice. The style of the blue buttons are more of a, as i said neon/plastic vibe, which doesn't really fit the vibe of the game, rather than for example a flat blue, or faded blue for them.

Hope you see where I was going with in the first message with this one, cheers !

@empollONE
well, glad you like it, but acording to this https://www.metmuseum.org/exhibitions/chroma
"Ancient Greek and Roman sculpture was once colorful, vibrantly painted and richly adorned with detailed ornamentation" So, it seems once there was an ancient greek world surrounded by colors and not as we imagine it today through the filter of time, a dusty and outdated world. So, i chosed to mix, colorful with ancient

Definitely a top tier UI mod for Rome, and barbaric nations like Gallics, Iberians and German ones, props for that.

The only downside I got are two things, first are the blue neon-like style buttons Carthage and the Hellenic nations got, I feel like they are SO out of place, not for them, but for the vibe of the game in general, and the second thing is the owl background used in menus for hellenic nations, it feels kinda... rushed, I'd say? In some places the logo is stretched and looks weird, and it's used everywhere, maybe a mosaic-ish plain background for hellenic nations would work better or smth? Just putting ideas out there.

Apart from that, I repeat again, very good UI mod, definitely using it for a roman/barbaric nation run 100%, cheers.

Thank you, Menumorut, for adding this beautiful mod (Slow Clap) to this 11-year-old game! :TheDivineRedCrown::TheRedCrown::TheRedCrownEvil:

It's almost a perfect interface . Everything in it is done in an amazingly neat and pleasing to the eye .
If someone would make such a similar interface for many parts for Attila TV mods as well.
With these faction icons "Skyn0s Emblems Compilation" it is a marvelous sight. thanks to the author !
