Unfortunately, and despite all of the messing around with the game files I've done, I can't for the life of me figure out how the GDF or the Imperial Armada's ship designs or models work (which is why the Executor isn't part of the Armada). If I could figure out how to make the GDF/Armada use your own shipset, I would make that submod, but at the moment I don't have the faintest clue how to do it.
You'll see parts of the galaxy siding with the pretenders, others siding with the loyalists, some staying neutral.
The Galactic Emperor now has access to an Imperial Embargo resolution, which hurts the economy of its target and prevents MegaCorps from opening branch offices on imperial member states (note; planets outside of the Imperium do not apply, and criminal syndicates ignore the embargo regardless).
Removed the new ruler titles, will revisit the idea in a future submod
Threw together a quick 'n dirty mod to allow imperial member states to claim the throne if Imperial Authority falls below 50. Will make this dramatically more interesting later. Also works with my Keep Your Flag mod IF the mod is installed at game start. Otherwise, run the command "effect set_global_flag = dono_keep_your_flag_active" to make sure the events recognize the mod.
As always, if there are bugs, let me know! Happy ruling!
No problem, friend. We, the gamers, need to support each other
I added it mid-game and didn't catch any error's.
Plus mod itself don't change much base-game files.
Cool update, but you need to made a new rendom names generation for your new custom governments, or else empire names with new governments be a blank with no text
Funny thing, most of the code is already there in the game files, just need to change it so that it works from the inside of the imperium
MegaCorps that are Galactic Emperor may make use of the Imperial Province and SDA subject types, and in addition to converting SDAs into an Imperial Province via espionage, you can also turn a recently released sector into an Imperial Province through the standard subject negotiation screen.
It took me longer to test this than it did to make it lol, this makes the Imperium not change your country name or flag
I could probably put that mod together real quick.
