theres an upside to the map being made bigger.. MORE SECTORS... not so limited in places to place sectors.

Ah yes love the new stuff in beta and egosoft over here like... "hmm yes the map... LETS MAKE IT BIGGER!". ::Hear car crashing noises in the distance:: me looking at the map like "MY CABBAGES!" yea... i'll stay away from the beta for now...

@x Unleashed xUK Thanks for commenting and letting me know, I just checked the patch notes for the new beta, and yeah, gonna have to move alot around...

As always with betas, things can still change so I wont immediately hop on it until they have a few balance passes

Well damn 8.00 beta update killed this mod half of the maps have overlapped on top of each other as they have change the locations of all the sectors i hope this can be updated as been using these sectors for quite a while and will be missed without them hope you are doing well.

@Loony Liberator Yeah it will be fixed when I have time, I'll be honest I havent even gotten the DLC or even launched the new update yet to look at everything, been pretty busy

Hi Treybor, since the latest patch I believe? the sectors 'The Expanse' and 'Sanctum Verge' are overlapping. Any chance for a correction to be made?

@Monster Tamer Bloba it all works, everything that needs changing is basically just visual, it just looks ugly on the map, I've been busy IRL but I'll try to have an update soonish, I have a couple extra sectors that I didnt add yet into this version that need rearrangement too.

hey, really wanted to use this mod. and end up searching through the files of this mod and ended up moving the expanse to just beneath Ralston dont know how to change a name of a sector though.. anyway, cant wait for the official update for this mod.

i also checked the new gates in boron space added with the patch, and they seem fine with your mod i dont think i saw any of them overlapping with the ones you use..

just did a quick look over this mod for the recent release. looks like the only issue from by quick look is The Expanse sector directly ontop of Sanctum Verge the vanilla one, not yours one.. there might be other issues but i didnt take a full look and only looked at the sectors. also might need to change your sanctum verge name to something else.

Any chance we can get more of your mods on Nexus? Though easy to use, Workshop can be messy at times and it would be nice to have access to these for those of us who prefer using dedicated mod organizers.

With the update the sectors dissapeared for me. Im hoping and looking forward to the mod beeing updated cause it adds a lot to the game :)

@Treybor All Good^^, I can imagine because I sometimes do the same when starting this kind of projects.

Anyway, I really like the mod, and when you have some python knowledge feel free to check out my tool. Could also help other modders, who are working on new clusters.

Let us see what the next update will bring, and how many sectors afterwards are overlapping. Maybe I also try to investigate how I can upload a mod here on Steam, so I can make a "Total Integration Mod" and moving a lot of sectors to new positions :)

@Mandrake yeah when I started making this it was only ever supposed to be for personal use, the code is a bit sloppy bc of that lol, it makes sense to me for the most part, the earlier ones before I ever released could use a tune up, they slowly got better as I released more

If someone is interested I also spread this here. So I created some tools where you can more or less easily move sectors, by analyzing the galaxy xml files, of the base game + dlcs + Treybors mod : Add more sectors mod combined with X universe + mod

written in python and you need to add the library: pygame + pygame-gui.. I reccomend pycharm as tool to run it and add the libraries.

@Treybor: I really like your mod. But the naming of the clusters nearly killed me XD, please consider to use a naming convention and also always check the capital and lower letters ^^

There are to many difference, I covered ca 80% of it to display the connection between the clusters. Rest of explanation in the Readme in Git. Many thanks

Great mod. Makes the game amazing. @SDZ is right. It's like a dimension overlay rift in Sanctum\Expanse. I'll edit the file but it would help to know where you're gonna place Expanse... so the changes we make would be carried into your update. Thanks

@SDZ I wont be updating for the beta until it gets closer to release bc alot can change from now til then, also you need to open the .cat file with Xtools, and in map/galaxy folder you just need to modify the X/Z Quadrants for sectors from there, you dont need to move anything else technically, if you want to make the map connections look nicer then yeah you'd need to move the gates around. If you want to change the name of Sanctum Verge you can do that in MapDefaults folder (1111, 22222), looks like that.. that pulls from the T file from the core game, so you can look through the vanilla file for a new name a sync it with that.

FYI, with v7.50 beta, egosoft has added a sector right where you've added "The Expanse" sector, called "Sanctum Verge"

I've tried modifying the location of your sector from the mod cat file - made all sectors disappear
I've understood how to edit the sector locations, but I either don't know what I'm missing (are the gates needing an edit too ?), and/or can't seem to find how to organize the modification into cat/dat files for x4
(my modding times are long behind me, from the x3 times)

The mod with ethereal enclave overlaps with this though it's easily moved as a single sector extracted mod. I think it should be mentioned in the description that this mod both adds some new shortcuts or trade routes but also more critically makes other longer. That can in particular have an impact on existing saves.

@Freddo [RDBK] thats just base game logic, number of jumps doesnt matter but total distance and how fast they can actually get there, so size of systems and whether or not there is a highway they can use matters

Not sure if it's this mod, base or something else. But it seems my ships or my guidance avoid Matrix #152 and opt to go from Atiya's Misfortune up through Frontiers Edge to Holy Vision which is a 6 gate jump compared to 5 gate jump through Faulty Logic's sectors. Am I missing something in these sectors that would cause this? I control Matrix #152 and all the Atiya's Misfortune sectors.

I completely understand if it's not this mod and it's something else.
