It’s not possible to add shadow/outline for text effects unfortunately. I tried adding a second black text effect “below” the normal text with a slight offset (imitating shadow) but it was rendered on top of the normal text sometimes so I ditched this idea. As for the size I wanted it to be quite big (similar to the Next Encounter) so it’s easily visible during fights and “analysis” text is pretty small iirc. And thank you c:

Probably that font text of "Multikill" "combo" "killing spree" needs also improvement as visual design. Like it lacks an border/outline for an text, and that text should also be match with size like "analysis". Nonethless, it's really cool stuff. Combined thing XBOX and Next Encounter

Теперь патроны выдаются только для оружия с максимальным количеством патронов 15 или более, так что абьюз серьезной бомбы больше не должен работать (при загрузке старых сохранений будет загружен старый скрипт, так что потребуется загрузить уровень из меню, либо перейти на следующий уровень).

Да, я знаю про «бесконечную» серьезную бомбу. Я скорее всего исправлю этот момент на этих выходных. Просто я сейчас другим проектом занимаюсь.

@Nekorie, можете сказать, что за модификация была в самом первом моменте видео которая меняет: (звук выстрела Томмигана, РокетЛаунчера, двухстволки)? Ещё заметил, что есть звуки при каждой замене оружия (особенно услышал у Томмигана, двухстволки и Лазергана).
P.S: А модификация на Комбо вышла крутая, неплохо придумали вырезать дополнительное HP при убийствах и заменить это патронами :steamhappy: ;)

The mod has been updated adding Boink font and Next Encounter killing spree music; overhealth has been replaced with ammo gain; text color is now based on the game title and other small changes.

Tbh looking back on this whole overheal idea, I don’t really like it that much since it feels a little bit unintuitive and confusing how exactly it functions. But I’m probably going to leave it as it is, for now at least. When I play with this mod I personally just turn it off entirely and only leave a speed multiplier xd

wouldnt it make more sense if you get the overheal during the combo? most of the time you get the overheal when you dont need it because everything is dead so your just watching it drain with nobody around to make it useful.

All of the text elements are made using text effects and I don’t think it’s possible to scale it based on the HUD size, at least the way it’s made now. I also wanted to make the color change based on the game title but it didn’t really look that good without the black outline so I decided to leave it as just white. As for the outline/border, I tried making it using the shadow parameter in the text effect but it just wasn’t working in-game for some reason. The only other way I could think of, was creating a copy of the text “below” the main one coloured black but it was sometimes being drawn above the actual text so it looked weird.

Really cool idea! Goes pretty well with Serious Sam gameplay without breaking it, IMO. This one's a keeper.
I just hope you're able to improve the HUD elements. In addition to seeing if you can make the overhealth text scale properly with your HUD, can you make all of the text change color to match the gametitle's HUD, and maybe add a black border around the text for consistency and visibility?

I guess the nostalgia of PS2 Next Encounter was just hitting dude. Idk about you guys but the Next Encounter Killing Spree music (not to sound crazy) gives me more "blood lust" to go for the kills. After all the speed of the music and the sound of it is just great.
