Have to say here that I do L-O-V-E the map. The work and the detail on this map is E-X-C-E-P-T-I-O-N-A-L ! It is indeed small but can be used for amazingly looking thematic missions. From SCPs, Post-Apoc, Guerrila OPs, Near-Future ideas like guerillas fight the advanced opressors, Sci-Fi that advanced factions go deep in abandonde zones and the list goes on with imagination being the limit! FPS and pathing is not the best but is at least functionable!

Low fps, the player often gets stuck on stairs, climbs, the map is too small to beat freelife in any way, fortunately Ryan's zombies do not get stuck and normally find their way to the player. For screenshots and small missions, of course, the map is great, but that's where its charms end. The author did well, but the functionality of the card is very poor. And I went on to lick the holes of Esseker...

Heya Webknight, I actually had no idea you had something to do with this map, it explains why it's one of the best maps I've played. I'd just like to say that your mods are fantastic and are some of the best I've ever seen, thanks a lot for making them, I've had a really good time with my mates using them and I'd love to see what you make in the future.
I hope you're doing good and are happy, you deserve it.

I am aware there are settings, which are still somehow poorly implemented, I am also referring to the other issues that people have mentioned such as it completely breaking skyboxes.

@DartRuffian looks like someone dosent know how to read, if you do not like the code - there is an option to completly disable it.

The scripts used for the view distance and ambient sounds are very poorly written. It is definitely WebKnight code.

For anyone looking to use this mod, the multitude of issues should steer you away.

So it 100% affects the other map mod 'Yulakia'
The base cup maps are actually fine, it just seems to break this other map mod for some reason.

With your mod Yulakia doesn't have a skybox/sun/moon/stars
Without it, it works fine

I do have other mods present but I'm only enabling/disabling your mod.


Sideline: Absolutely love the map, really looking forward to more.

@Zazea, I cannot recreate this bug, for me it works.
My mod does not add/edit/remove any skyboxe, neither did I change the skybox, my skybox is just vanilla Arma 3.
The CUP Core mod is only for Objects/assets (buildings/furniture ect).

Do you have the bug after you repair the bug?
Do you have other mods loaded that have any influences that change skyboxes or terrain data?
Because I cannot recreate this bug that you are experiencing.

The potential of the card is good, but if you make a dayz mod on it, especially with PVE, then it will turn out to be very small for these purposes. If you expand the map to at least 5 km, add parks, small forests and so on, to expand the territories, then this map will be the best choice for fans of survival in the zombie apocalypse. Respect to the author.

I am using these 3 Workshop mods at the same time and now have over 30- 40 FPS even with EXTREME settings and AI running.

Under video settings, there is a TARGET FPS. I have this set at 60.

Save it, then load your map and run around. Even with Lushify mod loaded, which increases TREE and BUSH sizes.

@Alexander, Arma AI refusing to cross bridges is sadly something A3 AI was always a struggle. I will try to find some creative ways to fix this but I cannot promise that this will 100% guaranteed work.
Arma pathing is something unique it needs a certain radius to "operate", I've tested all area's and they are able to traverse from point A to point B on the streets/area's, however it will not always look the "reallest" of pathing since somethimes they might group in a line and walk on the sidewalk in a row, like a duck mother leading it;s ducklings.
I'll try to find a way to add more pathing in the terrain, however no promises since A3 AI ..Well you see what they sometimes do :P.

@musicmikesYT, are you sure you have enabled the mod in your modlist and have all Required items enabled aswell? If you still have this problem when everything is enabled, repair the mod.

@Valken, I am not sure what you mean with "textures looking like mud", I just checked and all textures look fine (all my settings are ultra, I have a very high end pc). Best you can do is REPAIR the mod and it should fix the problem. I also saw some Youtube vids where all textures were looking good and objects, so I am affraid that the problem is sadly on your end.

I hope repairing the mod helps for you :).

I love the map but the new scripts or update is making the textures look like mud even with exteme settings. The previous closed alpha on objects LOW, textures ULTRA looks good and is balance for performance. Now, I cannot even get it to look right...

@The Paramedic The ai refuse to cross the bridges in particular. The streets are hit and miss with the wreckages, but sometimes they'll cut through the open areas to get around it. My suggestion is to place some ai in one corner of the map and order them to the other side and see where they get stuck.

@alexander, O? Any specific area where that occures? In the test I had that sometimes an IA clipped into a building but not much more than normal arma Ai does in my experience :0 if it happens too much I will concider making invis wall objects that can be placed if needed.
