There is no evidence of the romans carrying 2 pila,
Let alone having 2 different kind (light and heavy).
In fact we have more reasons to believe they only had 1 per legionary (Trojan carvings, and the fact that the scutumhas an horizontal handle wich makes unweildy to carry a second pilum.

@Roger_Sartet Hi Roger, some people think Roman Pilum mod makes the legionaries overpowered, so for realism choose this one Roman Pilum II. You can choose which mod to activate in the mod manager when you start the game I think. Sorry I haven't palyed the game for a long while!

OK, why you link poison_weapon_effect to pillum heavy shot because it change the effects for all weapons using poison weapon ? Instead of setting a new ability, for example ? Thank you.

How much damage has, actually, Pila? In addition still. Every Manipel (approx. 160 men) has had twice as more Pila. So, - 320. However, one can differentiate Pila:

1. Light Pila - 60 steps, 20 damage (the second weapon - 160 pieces).
2. Heavy Pila - 40 steps, 30 damage (the third weapon - 160 pieces).
3. Gladius remains as the first weapon.

In Vanila Pila is 40 points strong.

In addition still. If one switches off Pila shot, the soldiers must put away Pila and take Gladius.

which values did you edit for the testudo? I feel you like you FIXED the testudo formation. No matter how long theyre being shot by missiles from the front, nobody is dying. which is good!!! vanilla, testudo is worthelss!

@iftlc to be honest, I never heard of mod one manager before, but anyway I am not really an expert in modding. so can you use it to open my mod and alter the values?

@iftlc you mean how you can edit unit ammo? it's simple ;) I assume you have the programme called pack file manager, open my mod using it, and open the land_unit_tables, there you can find the values for unit ammo, accuracy, melee attack and much more! To have almost unlimited ammo, I would probably set the ammo value to say 1000?
