I haven't had any of the X_Man show up and I edited your mod a good while ago for personal usage. This also produces no errors in the log.

No - according my knowledge, what more I see that @ryno even recently added Civilization Patch For More Vanilla Creatures that depends on original the same base
But the best way is to ask in the source
I just added giant spores to be removed
@Donaldthemagpie I don't know, the main propose of this mod is to align the original mod with my taste, but when I'm already doing that I can also share it if anybody had similar need as I do.
