- Changed the handle attack to be a cut dmg type instead of a poke (blunt)
- DPS is the same
- Psychic Sensitivity Offset is now +20% (This values is affected by the weapon's quality.)
This is a fantastic idea, and I'm using it. However I must agree with the other folks here, that it being stronger than a plasteel or even a monosword is too much. Idk where I'd put it, but it shouldn't outshine a longsword considering we can make bioferitte longswords!
I disagree. Bioferrite is very op, but also relatively easily available.
Except for the very beginning, no matter how far i get in the game shards are rarer then bioferrite (even considering the cost differences), roughly speaking every 250 bioferrite i get 1 shard.
So with this mod i can make 2 bioferrite longswords and 1 shard dagger.
[Damage]
I can see where you are coming from, with the damage idea. And i agree, heck you could make it even less dps and give it persona weapon traits.
[PSY]
Honestly after reading everything, i feel like this knife should be like a psy scepter, less damage more psychic sensitivity.
[DPS]
Its weird, i personally trust the wiki more if you want i can explain.
[Damage]
I don't plan on buffing the weapon's damage that much. It's purpose is to be a cool cultist knife, that isn't suppose to out compete well-made smithed weaponry. Bioferrite is a very OP material.
[Psy]
The psy bonus was added as an after thought, more from the shard itself lore-wise in my head than from the Bioferrite. I'll buff it, and maybe look into making it a multiplier if it's possible. I didn't even check the Eltex Staff when setting the values.
[DPS]
The wiki's DPS numbers are wrong, mine are taken from in-game. I don't know why the in-game numbers are higher, they should be closer to wiki's. The in-game calculation must be different somehow.
A legendary Bioferrite Longsword does more dps then a plasteel longsword, also it doesnt give a flat psyfocus bonus, but a mutliplier depending on quality, it gives a multiplier.
https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Bioferrite considering this weapons costs shards i would recommend making it better then a bioferrite longsword.
Also not sure on dps numbers, the wiki has different ones: https://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Longsword
Sacrificial Daggers for cultists, who would've thought.
