@Crimson Alpha Ya, it seems all the hull is reinforced with combat steel in the Core 17 version. I'm gonna do that to the core 7 version now. Thanks

@Crimson Alpha Ya, if you have shadows turned off they work. also, they work for far away things, just not close up. Its how it is... this is a kinda old build now. Thanks! Ya, it really did well on here. The steel was just so it was cheap so you can get it in quickly then upgrade to combat steel. I did upgrade a lot of the steel around there to stronger materials. It was a lot less armoured before. I added it to the back sides around the thrusters and hangar there. Maybe I only did that to the core 17 version I put up actually....I'll have to check that out.
I definitely learned a lot from it.

You may not know this but spotlights no longer work through solid blocks. So all of those buried spotlights are useless. Also, I just wanted to mention that I don't think it's a great idea to just have a single layer of steel armor protecting your main gens. Nice looking ship, BTW.

@Water and Steel I think at this point (Ive been dealing with this for a bit now) its best to mention it to the creators of Reforged Eden 2 Beta, and see what they have to say on the problem. I'm not sure whether this problem is only my ships, or not, but that makes no sense that it would only be my ships... I dealt with the problem of it kicking the blueprint out of the blueprint workshop yesterday (for the third time) and everything was working fine when I took it into survival and added the resources the way you would regularly.

Ozfresh - In my survival game (sp) I am having an issue where I put a particular (new re2) Bp in the factory and in about 3 seconds it will kick it out, before I can add resources. I go back to the library and the Bp is there and I can re-add for the same result. So I'm guessing the base game is not playing with RE2 mod (or versi vicea). Above my pay grade so take it for what it's worth. As an aside, I thank you for this fine craft. Can't wait to put it to use!

@ Olou I'm not sure whats going on with it. I just spawned it in and overwrote the blueprint in survival. so hopefully that should do it. Its working fine for me in survival and putting resources in. Thanks for letting me know!

@T-Hammer09 Ok, i'll get it up here soon. I'm just going to put a link to it on this page and leave it private for those that want to have it. I'm gonna change a good amount of the hull to Combat steel, and then I'll put it here.

@ozfresh Im also getting the error that xaaton is getting. I unsubscribed and resubscribed as well. I didn't spawn in creative and save was hoping not to have to do that. Any solutions?

@T-Hammer09 Hey, do you want me to just put a Core 17 Model up so you can check it out in creative? Or do you just want me to put some upgrade pictures on here? The model I just upgrades has 6 Heavy Plasma Batteries, 2 EMP Cruise Missile Launchers, 4 X-ray Medium Modulated lasers, LX-2 Prototype Railgun, 2 Sentinel Flak, 2 Miniguns and the original sentries. I've adjusted the thrusters all around though, added a Large Fusion reactor and all the shield parts. I had to get rid of one of the Deconstructors

@Xaton Thanks, I checked it out. I don't know why it was showing as red in the workshop, but its fixed now. Possibly something to do with updates to RE2, since its in beta? I dunno. It should work now, you might have to re-verify your files, I'm not sure. Its not showing a red Name in the Blueprint factory for me anymore. Thanks!

think may be issue with the file cause i try to put it into the factory but vanishes and says something prefab doesnt exist error. and tried resuscribing and verifying files

@Merciless Juan on the sides of the shield where there's those funky carbon composite blocks with the lines was meant for the superior cpu. If you can find a better spot, go for it!

@Splutty Thats the thing with battleships that have the bridge at the back (which is necessary). It still has a lot of visibility because you can see the ground through the prongs. I find it perfectly fine to see through the bridge. But if you have problems flying a vehicle in first person without huge amounts of visibility then you should check out Ærelim Nova [RE2]


It has a huge viewing area. Good luck on your travels!

Beautifully designed, but the view from the cockpit is blocked like 80%, which is a shame. For someone who has problems controlling ships in third person view, it's hard to fly this thing. lol

A stunningly beautiful ship, great solutions with the HUD and the hatch on the roof, unfortunately I did not find a role for it in my playthrough. But I will definitely use it next time.

console command the server into creative mode ( cm ) andy then spawn it in the same command it ( cm ) back to survival :steamhappy:

The complexity number is 9 and it's in red, and I cannot spawn it on my RE2 server. I am the admin but I don't know what to change to allow it to be created. Everything is in my factory but the red 9 complexity number won't let me actually create it and spawn it. Help?

@lwpuma20 if its the promethium you're talking about.... ships use fuel when they are turned on. You need to turn them off or add the required plasma turbines to reduce fuel consumption to stop them using promethium fuel. If it is the pentaxid thats going down, I have no idea, that sounds like a game bug.

i built a hanger for that darn thing so it is parked in a hanger shields off and already fully charged and still bleeding out all my pentaxid

@lwpuma20 none of what you said makes any sense. It doesn't use "warp fuel" ( did you mean pentaxid?) unless you're warping or charging your shield. Please enlighten me on what you actually mean...
