I managed to get it pretty stable on an Asus Strix GTX 960 and an E5 Xeon proccessor. It went down to 15FPS in crowded area's and it was unwieldy as all hell. Still, great mod.

I tried it, and this was the result. *Lag, Lag, Lag, Lag, Lag, Lag, Crash*

aether.tech 15 Feb, 2015 @ 12:13pm
That...is the smartest thing I think I've ever read -lol *derp.*

Its working, but really slow. Which is to be expected.

make sure you dont have other large module count ships when you load in, I recommend travel to a neutral sector, then load it in.
aether.tech 15 Feb, 2015 @ 9:04am
into space. But Gortem, your CPU is still prettyfar above my Q9300.
EuroKudos  [author] 15 Feb, 2015 @ 8:14am
that's strange, It's working just fine for me. does it crash when you load it in the shipyard or when you go into space?
aether.tech 14 Feb, 2015 @ 7:21pm
Ok, since you posted this I had upgraded my PC to a quad core; upgraded to 64 bit with 8gb ddr2 and went to a GTX660ti

And ... it crashed.

I think my new PC can handle it... STRESS TEST: ACTIVATE!

Excelent WORK.
NOW the "eclipse" from "EaW FoC".
M3di 8 Nov, 2014 @ 4:26am
True, but as I mentioned, that is the old version and as the game mechanics progresses, I have many opportunities to shape previous built ships I haven't had before. So basically, I take the core construct and try to make it smoother. So my energy requirements went through the roof. Btw, your ship runs on my machine better than expected, but you could add a few engines. The look's awesome but it is slow as hell :KSad:
EuroKudos  [author] 7 Nov, 2014 @ 6:43pm
according to this screenshot it only need 270k with all engines and no guns. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=338417360 I'm not sure where you're coming at.
M3di 7 Nov, 2014 @ 5:51pm
Easy for you to say... without guns and with half the engines it still needs above 3 Mio units of energy. Kinda awkward not being able to add more generators (even if only for redundancy) anymore.:KScared:
EuroKudos  [author] 7 Nov, 2014 @ 4:47pm
You shouldn't need 7.8 million power to run your star destroyer, my SSD only needs about 200k and a autochisel reactor gives plently, try ripping out the engines, they might be glitched.
M3di 7 Nov, 2014 @ 4:35pm
Nicely done, but one simple question: How can I add more than one reactor / sensor / kinetic field etc? My star destroyer I am completely reworking needs more than 7,8 Million Energie and there is plenty of space for stuff to add... But I don't know how to add more modules in the latest build.:KSad:
Gnu 7 Nov, 2014 @ 8:06am
Actually I had something else in mind, ships from VEGA Conflict (facebook-game)
EuroKudos  [author] 7 Nov, 2014 @ 7:59am
I'm planning on doing all of the imperial cruisers and a few super tar destroyers, maybe you could make some alliance ships?
Gnu 7 Nov, 2014 @ 7:58am
shiiiiiiiiiit, maybe I should start building again, because this ship is sweeeeeet <3
Saltius Chokolatus 6 Nov, 2014 @ 9:29pm

SotP Hunter 4 Nov, 2014 @ 10:01pm
I wasn't expecting a hug, I was expecting a ship. xD
EuroKudos  [author] 4 Nov, 2014 @ 4:56pm
I could try, but dont expect a hug.
SotP Hunter 4 Nov, 2014 @ 4:55pm
This looks AWSOME! think you can make an Allegiance class SSD? (it's a star cruiser, not a star dreadnought)
parkjrjr 4 Nov, 2014 @ 9:44am
I've got a battle cruiser with 950+ modules, it's based on mass if I remember correctly.
Trauma 4 Nov, 2014 @ 6:25am
In between 800 and 1000 then... Jeez, they made it hard. I like that.
EuroKudos  [author] 4 Nov, 2014 @ 6:19am
You can get away with it with under 1,000
Trauma 4 Nov, 2014 @ 3:35am
Curiosity: How many modules do you need on current patch for a ship to be a Dreadnought?
Lain 3 Nov, 2014 @ 8:14pm
i think the entire game has less modules then your ship ima try it :>
