Love your builds but.. any chance you could make an early level upgrade-able version of this ?
Advanced CPU extenders and the like is a bit much..

I love the idea that you can spawn it in early, and then upgrade it as you go..
Marking areas for warp, shields, and such so players know where you intent for things to go..
but also giving the freedom to modify it for yourself..

I think this is an incentive to get it early and keep it for longer..

You are correct!

2 on each wing (2 + 2 = 4)
1 in front of each forward thruster (1 + 1 + 4 = 6)
2 rows of 5 on the nose (5 + 5 + 6 = 16)

The nose blocks are not removed by default because it would create an ugly cavity for those who can't afford the CPU to install cannons. The default for the vessel is already at max CPU when spawned, so it's expected you'll remove the nose blocks as you build up CPU to afford them. :)

Oh, refer to images lol

Where are the 16 cannon slots? Are you including the 10 slots in the nose which requires you to remove blocks?

The ammunition controller is protected (and separated) by combat armor. Since the cannons are positioned at the front, losing the cannons would render the ammunition less critical (despite turrets elsewhere).
The placement of the ammo controller at the front was a necessary compromise due to space constraints. A unified harvest container spanning both the back and front of the ship isn't feasible, so this configuration prioritizes functionality within the available space.

If you prefer to swap them, you can access the ammo controller from a shutter on the hood of the Deva. Now your harvest container is the small, and your Ammo controller is the big one located in the cabin space.

The Ammunition controller being at the very front of the ship would be problematic, no?
