Do you perhaps keep an updated list of compatible shipsets? Or is it just the collection from the original mod?

The ships are not implemented yet.

I love the idea of this mod, but I cant get the following ship sets to spawn on ai empires without forcing them.

is there a mod which forces the ai to use custom portraits with custom ships?

Is there a particular load order for this? Also, a bit more info on how to use it would be helpful, unless it is a 'behind the scenes' mod that just does what it does.

But from the comments it seems there is 'select-ability', and I can't find any mention of this in a new game no matter where the mod is placed. (Or is it incompatible with RS?) Need more info mate.

You forgot to close a bracet opened on line 491 for the "x_shipset_event.3".
Its in file x_ai_shipset_events.txt and needs to be closed on line 535

any version of this that allows the AI to still use the base game ships? so it just allows them to use custom shipsets but not only

To avoid confusion I'd recommend removing the phrase "this temporary patch" from the mod description, as it makes it seem like this is just a patch for AI, Use Custom Shipset rather than a full mod that's acting as a stopgap until AI, Use Custom Shipset is updated.

Please make a machine race that looks like that figure in your screen shot.

Don’t get me wrong. This mod doesn’t just let you use your custom shipsets from the Workshop yourself—it also allows you to assign them to the AI. That means the AI won’t just use the original models. For example, if you download the Stargate Ori shipset, the mod already includes instructions so that the AI can use it as well. A large number of shipsets are supported—if one doesn’t work, just let me know and I’ll add the instructions to the mod.
