I've figured out a workaround to the 2x2 getting messed up using the gravship that's only a minor hassle until it gets fixed officially. It'll require the minify everything mod as well as the below.

Basically you uninstall the storage boxes which thanks to the above mod will still have everything inside and then take off and land before reinstalling them. I've tested that this works but if anyone encounters problems using this please let everybody know.

about the bug on gravship, could be fix from this mod if you made the storage rotatable? even if the texture is the same?
bradson 16. juli kl. 13:50
Unrotatable 2x2 storage buildings getting displaced by a tile and possibly deleted on gravship movement is a known vanilla bug. It's reproducible by changing the vanilla shelf xml to have a size of (2,2) and rotatable false. Ludeon is aware
Hbombre 16. juli kl. 13:32
Having the same issue with the gravship, on landing the storage units move, and sometimes get destroyed or destroy other objects.
Cream Corn Lover 16. juli kl. 8:13
Buddys acting like 188mb is a ton of space
vin  [ophavsmand] 16. juli kl. 2:44
@big tobacco
Its because each time it updates, a new texture is needed. Each one is high quality and has a dds file. There are also multiple storage objects. This project too a long... long... time to make.
big tobacco 16. juli kl. 1:51
my guy what do you mean 188mb size for a storage mod
Abra⁧⁧cadabra 15. juli kl. 19:35
Yeah ended up figuring it out. Thanks for the response though.
vin  [ophavsmand] 15. juli kl. 19:33
@Abra
Temperature tab, but you can also type the name in..
Abra⁧⁧cadabra 15. juli kl. 11:31
Where do you build the food roller? I don't see it anywhere in storage.
vin  [ophavsmand] 15. juli kl. 10:24
@Sandbach
I can fix that, I forgot
Sandbach 15. juli kl. 10:23
Not having a construction skill required for the roller fridge ruins the game balance
vin  [ophavsmand] 15. juli kl. 7:17
@The Holy Roman Empire
Hi, the rimworld devs are already on this. This is a base game issue right now, unexpected with the DLC. We expect a fix soon.
The Holy Roman Empire 15. juli kl. 7:16
this is a great quality of life feature mod but that i like to use but i tried the cardboard creates on a gravship as well as the roller fridge on the ship and they were left behind on take off. I like the convenience this mod gives so i would love to see this updated to support gravship take off
vin  [ophavsmand] 15. juli kl. 2:30
@Sshodan
all good
vin  [ophavsmand] 15. juli kl. 2:30
@Dr. Orpheus
Its not necessarily meant to be a good storage box, but rather a sensitive updating graphic at a glance. You can however edit this on your own using Rimmsqol or in the XML.
Sshodan 15. juli kl. 2:28
@vin Sorry if I sounded snippy - I guess most people are used to the end user not reading the manual and not knowing how to put a mod list together... As I sad - I love this mod, it's very well done! And I obviously set the values to the right ones mentioned in the description myself. Just wanted to live a note in case default values where unintentional.
vin  [ophavsmand] 14. juli kl. 20:59
@Smiley Face Killer
I will add that for you.
pikmin23 14. juli kl. 20:51
I found the issue is with the adaptive storage framework mod I’m currently talking to the mod author in order to get this issue fixed
Smiley Face Killer 14. juli kl. 20:30
Idea for you if you care, a Cargo Container that has it's doors open and empty inside when empty, but fills with boxes/crates as you fill it up, then when full it closes
Kind of like the cargo container in your Adaptive+Ideology mod, but hopefully recolorable, and "animated" to fill up
pikmin23 14. juli kl. 20:26
I am having an issue with your mod when at least a triple layer rack is within the allowed zone of any colonist after a while of gameplay. All colonist will stop doing actual work and will only do recreational and be idle for the rest of the time I’m still running tests to see if it’s pacifically your mod or just the adaptive storage framework or the stack XL mod.
Dr. Orpheus 14. juli kl. 19:38
Why is the storage amount for the 1x1 rack only 2/3rds as good as a vanilla shelf?
V01D 14. juli kl. 17:40
Im having an issue with the shelves not accepting any meal types. Is this intended or a bug?
vin  [ophavsmand] 14. juli kl. 8:04
@Sshodan
I'll push a fix for that, myb
also dont fault bradson, he manages the framework, not my shitty implementation lol
Sshodan 14. juli kl. 8:01
@bradson You can open the mod files and LOOK at <maxItemsIncell>#</maxItemsInCell> - it's set at two times for small medical shelf, 4 for large and 2 for the generic shelf. Nothing is "messing" with it - this is the number the author typed in.
vin  [ophavsmand] 14. juli kl. 2:04
Hey everyone please see bradson's comment. This issue is a vanilla bug being fixed soon by the devs.
bradson 14. juli kl. 1:45
Unrotatable 2x2 storage buildings getting misplaced on odyssey gravship movement is a known vanilla bug, with a planned vanilla fix for this week. It can be reproduced by modifying vanilla shelves to have a size of 2x2 and rotatable set to false, with no code adding mods loaded, too.
bradson 14. juli kl. 1:43
It definitely cannot affect inventories that have nothing to do with the mod. This only adds passive storage buildings
KamiKazeKayaK 14. juli kl. 1:39
This mod was deleting items for me hardcore, even pawn inventories that had nothing to do with the mod(rip poison chain shotgun of amazingness:( )
Johnny 13. juli kl. 19:37
Yeah, Exploding storage every jump is still better than vanilla storage tbh and is pretty funny.
Wesir 13. juli kl. 16:56
I first had it happen after a hard landing and just assumed the cardboard boxes exploded and threw everything all over
Arkana :> 13. juli kl. 15:54
The bug is kinda funny though, I just imagine they land too hard and all their stuff starts flying around :D
zig158 13. juli kl. 12:08
The GravShip issue got me looking at other storage mods (I know it is a Rimworld bug). I really like what you have done with this mod. So many storage mods go overboard and add too much stuff.
ms.szubo 13. juli kl. 11:45
just want to say :cardboard box pile will explode if you use it on gravship . it hapens during the traver from world to asteroid
BigAl 13. juli kl. 10:18
Will Medicine Rack get a herbal medicine version?
Ocomunepom 13. juli kl. 9:23
i just arive to speak about the gravship bug, but it seem like it know

it must be normal that there issu since it that new
vin  [ophavsmand] 13. juli kl. 5:57
Hey everyone, the bugs related to grav ships are known. Will be fixed.
bradson 13. juli kl. 2:35
See framework comments. Gravship landing bugs for 2x2 buildings are known and will be fixed.
MIMI Sentry 13. juli kl. 2:24
The 2x2 Cardboard pile seems to eat your ship away if you rotate the ship at all, the shelves seemingly have no issue though
Farbott 12. juli kl. 23:14
Some of the storage cant rotate, which leads to them EATING gravship walls if you rotate it in landing, so be careful of that
Capnbludd 12. juli kl. 21:01
The large weapons storage spot doesn't rotate, it stays horizontal and shifts slightly in place. Other than that I love the variety of all the looks, thanks!:steamthumbsup:
bradson 12. juli kl. 14:45
@Sshodan this mod has pictures showing capacities of some of the buildings. If those don't match what you're seeing in-game there's gonna be something else messing with them, maybe mod settings somewhere or a mod like stockpile stack limit
Sshodan 12. juli kl. 14:13
So I just installed this to have a bit of verity on my gravship storage (this mod looks very cool) but I feel like the storage amounts are a bit of a mess - vanilla one tile shelf allows for three stack of anything. The medical one tile shelf in this one says capacity 4 but only allows for two stacks when build and the "general rack" only says opacity 2 (did not build it yet)... I'm all for visuals but on gravship every tile matters, so I can't see a practical reason to have smaller shelf than vanilla? Am I missing something?
Yes I so I can adjust it, but still defaults being worse than vanilla is a bit weird...
Drake 12. juli kl. 12:29
@bradson, thanks didn't see the comment at first!
bradson 12. juli kl. 8:37
@Drake See earlier comments. It only affects buildings that can not be rotated and have no single clear center cell, like 2x2 buildings. It is a bug in vanilla code with the exact offending line already known, will hopefully get fixed throughout the week, or at the earliest on monday.
Drake 12. juli kl. 7:38
If you have Odyssey DLC and launch your Grav ship, all containers vanish spilling items on the ground...
Delta29 12. juli kl. 6:31
just an update, Ideology is no longer a requirement and it (hopefully) runs perfectly fine
vin  [ophavsmand] 12. juli kl. 5:21
@PTI Co., Ltd.
fixed
Sarus 12. juli kl. 5:12
Its all Tzeentch's doing
vin  [ophavsmand] 12. juli kl. 4:52
yeah what the fuck, the inverted texture on that object is mystifying me idk tf is going on, side by side with working objects its identical lol, must be some kind of rimworld fuckery, maybe a byte data thing?
