Does this work on the DLC campaigns as Rome?

i have no mod that changes buildings. Only a few unit mods and one that gives me 1 turn tech.

The only thing I can think is another mod, maybe that changes the buildings?

I can definently remember etruscan hoplites working when I tested a while back.

i get archers but samnites and etruscan hoplites somehow failed to make it into my game. They're not in campain or custom battle. What am i doing wrong?

Rome and the Etruscans share the same building tree, so if Rome is allowed to train Etruscan Hoplites they can get them from the heavy barracks. I would have to overwrite vanilla files which would probably introduce conflicts with other mods.

Like Straight Outta Names said could you make that rome can train italian unit (Sadmite and Etruscan) in the auxiliary camp ?

Could you do a mod where you give Rome all the Italian/Etruscan League units?
agauh2o  [author] 17 Jan, 2015 @ 6:41pm
Yeah
yoummali 17 Jan, 2015 @ 2:02pm
are they applied to the campaign
agauh2o  [author] 24 Dec, 2014 @ 12:47pm
Yeah, it may be a little while before I get to it though.

can you add Campanian Cavalry to rome as well?

I would assume that what you would need to do is go to the units and input some code to activate formation use on them, I can give more details later, as I am downloading the Creation Kit right now

Definitely havn't thought about it. But yeah that could actually be easy to change up. Let's say I figured out how to change them, I'm not sure what is needed. Could you tell me the most important changes that need to be made? Gives me somewhere to start.

Have you been thinking of doing a Roman Formations Mod? It may be something easy for you to do, and I know a LOT of people want those
agauh2o  [author] 19 Dec, 2014 @ 2:36pm
Yeah I'll look around for it, but I'm not too advanced either so it could take a while for me to figure it all out

Im not a professional modder, but I bet if you look in the files for Auxillary barracks, there has to be a line of code there indicating that the region lock should happen, but I havent played the creation kit.

I was going to but vanilla already has them recruitable from roman heavy barracks, so I can't take that out, that I know of. I suppose I could put them in the auxiliary as well so it gives players that option? I also don't know how to do region specific locks for units, something I hope to find out after finishing my set of mods that I'm doing.

For more Immersion in the game, shouldnt the Samnite Warriors and Hoplites go to Auxiliary barracks in Italia, and Corisa? Just a thought.
