@Antinov: I am not sure yet, but I will maybe add this and my other old gyro to the new pack. They will look almost the same if I do this and have same force I guess...so keep checking in on the new pack...

lol could be right was 60 gyros of force. Ah ok yeah cant really make judgement calls on what feels like but at this point the ship is turning like a small ship with 4 of these i know i did not have that before its really nice, kind of cool such a large ship turning so well plus i have T4 angel tiered thrusters on it to lol.

Actually speaking of which i would love to see what you would come up with making smaller thrusters :) a nice CodeCat thruster about the size of the vanilla large thrusters maybe only a little bigger for large and small ships ?

@Visentinel: Dont know if it adds 300% or the gyro is total 300% better? If 300% better then it should be like 60 gyros. If I dont remember it wrong, my gyros are lighter then the total vanilla weight of the same force magnitude. It shouldnt be more weight "as I understand it". I wont change the force on these gyros, there will be new ones :)

Hi Inferi, im not good at calculating things so i might be wrong in some of this.

I had 20 vanilla Gyros on the Keen SWH gyro boosters that add 300% to the gyros i think that meant i had the force of 80 Gyros. I have built 4 of yours replacing that previus setup and all seems well :) just was thinking the massive weight of these gyros sortof counters itself i noticed i dont know exactly by how much but it is noticible as i scaled up from 1 - 2 etc as i built your gyros. It might be a suggestion to maybe bump these gyros to 30x instead of 27 just to help counter their own weight especilly when theres 4 of them its a mighty increase in the ships total weight.

I do consider that each adds +7 for a total of 28 extra gyros worth of force vs my previus setup so maybe you have already thought of this.

@Visentinel: This model has no moduleconnections. so if it would it wouldnt work on this. Maybe I will add in the future.

has anyone experimented to see if the Gyro upgrade Module would make this gyro more powerful to ? the weight + size becomes a burden when compared to just building a gyro module and wacking 4 gyros on it :P

this mod is awesome - I used it on a giant ship of mine; handled like a dream. Plus, the huge model has bling value :)

Nice, that was the stinkiest description ever between here and.... over there. I made 2 photos. See the keypad on the gyro? One outward, other inward in mirror mode, I did the same with the guns in the pic but they point out. Same mirror function.
This is no crap throwing because I really love the mod. I mean the look and design, the whole pack is just awesome (Used in all my ships) I just ben wondering about this.

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I can't seem to get the mirror to work. You know when building 2 sides of a ship at the same time. Well, it do mirror but the keys end up on the same side. One center and the other out to the side.

atm both are in the collection, but to know wich one is the "enhanced" gyro and wich is the "eco" one is difficult ingame, due to the fact you use a custom model i tought youre is the "boosted" gyro^^

BlackRedDead: This mod is more of a "pack" of 27 vanilla gyros in one then a enhancment of the forcemagnitude. You could use 27 vanilla instead of this mod but you end up with 27*more vanilla gyros and the triangles with that. This mod helps keep triangles down and makes your "list of installed components" smaller. The "Steroids one" is more of a boost i guess "havent looked into it". They are 2 different kinds of gyros so I think its not good to compare really. Why not use both in your collection to add more choice?

maybe realized so that the big gyro has more forcepower than the small (if the space of a 3x3x3=27 maybe the power of 32gyros ;-), lesser cost (you build 1 big gyro instead of much small ones - im not sure how to balance the costs^^ - i mean to just say 32gyros divided with "?" sounds wrong...) but increased power usage (32+16 eqivalent to vanilla gyros - bigger gyro, more energy to move it^^) - but that all is just an idea, you both made a good gyro mod so i mean you have more experience than me with it!
i like your model but his stats... but like i said, cant rly decide wich one is "better" as vanilla enhancement!^^ - even if vanilla doesnt mean better! ;P

im working on a "enhancement" pack wich mods that wont interrupt the vanilla gameplay but enhance it/complete it ;-)
due to the fact you rly ned tons/masses of vanilla gyroscopes to move a big ship i want something that is well balanced with the vanilla gyros but more effizient to them!
but not to much, you should still forced to decide between the large one and maybe much of the vanilla ones ;-)

Tested it out in creative on a 21mil kg ship and they help out significantly over my hordes of vanilla gyros.

@Spin-Planet: I still have not watched the new effects. I'm currently working on a new drill and cockpit. Will check these effects and see if I can use this in any way. Once again, good idea :)

I just had a cool idea pop into my head right now. (I write it down here to you before I forget about it). Hope it sounds interesting. The new spark effects in SE, use it inside when the gyro is running. Not like the vanilla flashing but in a vibrating shaking blue kind of light like on an electric motor running.

Exactly what I was thinking. Less partcount means better preformance when ships get very big. Thats why I use part mods with bigger parts where all specs is multiplied the same amount.

These just look great, in a classy way too :) I have a suggestion if you get the tilt/spin animation working. A small light at the top so is possible to tell top from bottom. I mean on the sphere.
