Jesus Loves You^_^ 31 Oct, 2016 @ 6:47am
Welcomed and very good mod but have some nonsenses inside, like ''Units are disbanded if they are less than 10% left after a battle'', ''Looting has been replaced by Sacking '', ''Occupying a city now gives you -10 public order instead of -20 '', etc.....which I think are not realistic.
Overlord Nick 30 Apr, 2016 @ 4:25pm

Love it. Great work comrade, with both the technical work and the accurate representation of slave economics.
thedoktorj 25 Jan, 2015 @ 8:27am
Anybody else having trouble with zero naval replenishment when using this mod? My navies simply are not replenishing when located in a port where I can recruit more of the unit. Thus far, I've had to resort to disbanding and rebuilding each naval unit that loses some men.

I am not registered there, you should ask a friend to download it for you or make a request directly on TWC.
Austere Hare 24 Jan, 2015 @ 7:54pm
gee i thought i got it working but no avail.. stoopid mac. any chance you could upload it to total war center?
daubert86  [author] 24 Jan, 2015 @ 1:50pm
Yes this is the difference between looting (= occupy) and sacking in the game.
Mika 24 Jan, 2015 @ 12:27pm
"Looting has been replaced by Sacking for all the factions (why looting and damaging the buildings of city you want to occupy????) " Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't there a possibilty that somebody doesn't want to occupy the city? Thus damaging the enemy's buildings is beneficial.

Yes, if vanilla is 300 then my mod is 60. Subsistence is just production for direct local consumption, it does not allow to make huge profits. If you tax too much a subsistence activity then the activity nearly immediately collapses, and so your taxes... Subsistence taxes were rather symbolic. One of the reasons of the collapse of the Western Roman Empire is the collapse of the economy because of huge taxes on subsistence, that's why I implemented high penalties (growth and public order) for very high taxes, which are not really more efficient than just high taxes.
Mdjai 24 Jan, 2015 @ 9:58am
Did you mean for lvl 2 Capitals to only give 60 wealth from subsistence??
Austere Hare 24 Jan, 2015 @ 8:02am
i figured it out. omg Mac users have to jump through hoops to get steam mod downloads to work. but it is possible thanks for the best mod evar!
Austere Hare 24 Jan, 2015 @ 6:30am
this sounds like the best mod of all time! how do i get it? I play on a Mac. i have been able to get .packs from twc on the internet but no steam mods are dowloadable.
daubert86  [author] 23 Jan, 2015 @ 9:53am
Important update 23/01, subsistence income has been lowered, raiding is now usefull, and garrisoned armies and docked armies does cost less than those wandering (it simulates logistics).
Ace 22 Jan, 2015 @ 4:10am
Cant wait too try it out, sounds amazing. and now finaly my champion can make them revolt ;D
daubert86  [author] 21 Jan, 2015 @ 10:12pm

Meet the Miller 21 Jan, 2015 @ 5:41pm

daubert86  [author] 21 Jan, 2015 @ 1:00pm
You have to compare sacking with and without the mod, can you confirm that the bonus does not apply?
Javilos_Septim 21 Jan, 2015 @ 12:11pm
I sacked a city last day with the ardiaei and I didnt get the bonus of loot, may your bonus conflict with his one?
daubert86  [author] 21 Jan, 2015 @ 6:44am
They are there for the purpose of balancing.

It seems that AI likes the mod, 75 turns and there major empires on the map, Rome has defeated Carthage and Syracuse, Pergamon invaded Egypt and the Seleucids, Pontus took Armenia, Parthia built a big empire in the for east but is now eaten by Baktria, Suebi made an empire in Germany as well by defeating the Boii and the Nervii, Dacia is rising in the Balkans while the Odrysian kingdom is still surviving, Epirus defeated Macedon and Athens but is now struggling against the Ardiaei, Sparta and Rome. I am playing as Massilia and own Cisaplina, Provincia, Illyria, Carthaginensis, Baetica and Mauritania (with Gaetuli and Masaesyles as client states). I am currently fighting the Arverni who had an empire in Spain and Gaul, I have just 3 armies and 1 navy. My empire is not the biggest, Pergamon is by far bigger.
Nero 21 Jan, 2015 @ 5:09am
would be interesting without the side effects.
Runningricher 20 Jan, 2015 @ 1:13am
playing in very hard so many times
Now I always consider it as normal 0~0
this must be a mistake
daubert86  [author] 19 Jan, 2015 @ 10:39pm
Yes it does, but base public order has been rebalanced. You can also change difficulty. After all, isn't normal that playing in very hard mode is very hard?
Runningricher 19 Jan, 2015 @ 6:36pm
Is slave still decrese order so huge?
daubert86  [author] 19 Jan, 2015 @ 12:48pm
Playing with who?
Peanut 19 Jan, 2015 @ 11:56am
Cant create client states
daubert86  [author] 18 Jan, 2015 @ 3:53am
Yes it should be savegame compatible, however I recommend to start a new campaign.
Javilos_Septim 17 Jan, 2015 @ 3:57pm
Save game compatible?
ruby 17 Jan, 2015 @ 1:13pm
really good mod! thank you!!
Cornelius 17 Jan, 2015 @ 10:30am
Very well done, sir! "tips top hat"
TwelveStep 17 Jan, 2015 @ 5:38am
Yeah, I had a bit more time to play than I thought. I have 6 provinces as Macedon. I'm making roughly 3.5K less than I otherwise would be. I dig it. Thanks a ton.
daubert86  [author] 17 Jan, 2015 @ 5:28am
It should maintain a lower income in late game, I am currently testing a Massilia campaign, 30 turns and only 4 cities and I am able to maintain only one army (trading with 14 factions). Slave income progressively vanishes with time if you cease to fight ennemy armies, and trade income should disappear in late campaign if you are at war with the remaining factions. As minor factions are really minor, major factions should be able to build big empires with time (considering the player is himself slower to build his own empire).
TwelveStep 16 Jan, 2015 @ 6:54pm
Not going to be able to get to late game on this for a while. Does this maintain a lower income or does it promote snowballing?
Honores 16 Jan, 2015 @ 11:50am
Thank you, that's very cool!
