Thanks man. I used your code to add Ice as a resource in the addon for my scenario.
It has a map with some rocks that contain ice. These rocks are a goal for late game travelling with the buggy. The rocks can be mined using resource barrels. Easy once you get there, but they are few and far away.

This is a very good idea. Obtaining hydrogen is too hard late game. However pooping loads and loads of hydrogen into existence that was never consumed is a bit too easy. Our astronaut is one tough character with a heartbeat never exceeding 70 bpm during reentry and decent, but not even Bruce Willis could create elements. Only big bangs and supernova's can.
So, with you permission, I would like to use this as a starting point for a new mod, with a "poop-timer" allowing toilet use only once in a while.

Regarding the ice, I think we would need a scanning and drilling tool for it. I will try to make this too, and hide rare patches of ice on a scenario map. Fetching Ice should be an incentive for getting around the map in the buggy. Thanks for providing a starting point - if I publish anything, credit will be given.

I checked a few other mods and yours with Extra meals. I did not notice any incompatibility. Extra Meals is an addon. It adds new stuff, has differently configured paths and different file names. You have created a MOD - by loading you are overwriting the base game files. Mod files are one level higher than the base files. You use the same file names and directories. Maybe it would help you make the mod an addon. If you know of a specific error, write it or give a photo.

Recommendation: In the World directory - you have an unmodified moon.loc file. Airlock or poptent will not work on the moon. The moon will not be playable due to a bug in version 1.0.0011. You must modify it with the following parameters:
Body "Deimos"
AtmosphericComposition "Oxygen" 0.001.

@exedeadlygaming I would instead encourage you to look into becoming a modder yourself as any community could always use one. I officially give you and anyone else who wants a crack at it full permission to update THIS mod themselves and repost it if I haven't updated it by the end of the weekend or at a later date should this mod fall into disrepair again. My only requests, being that the original description is included in it's entirety and you give me credit as the original author.

@exedeadlygaming Correct. I am no longer actively playing or modding TKOM. Technically, the mod isn't broken or rather only one file is the problem. There's a file that deals with localization and it must be updated each time the game updates to prevent the menu bug you've noticed. This is due to the way the game was programmed and cannot currently be avoided. I don't want to make promises I'm not going to keep, so I won't say I'll fix it. However, if it really is a simple file fix and I can actually remember how to mod TKOM anymore I'll see about getting it going again. But again NO promises.

The mod has broke the game, and many in game menus, Incorrectly displaying rescourses on barrels and in refinery, guessing that you stopped updating your mod. :steamfacepalm:

it doesnt work with the latest branch it seems
maybe its the digitized resources transport, but i seriously doubt it.
i was so looking forward to finally be able to use my pee and poo to fuel up the engines

@Netshamen that is because it is ONLY usable on those maps. If you wish to play a different map disable the mod. It should NOT be active on any other maps anyway. Until changes are made to the way the mods change files there is little I can do about this. Updates will be coming after 1.0.

The problem with this mod is that it disables access to all the other locations when using the editor, only are accessible Moon, Asteroid Belt, Deimos, North Pole, and South Pole.
ALL the other locations are non more in the editor list !

@RevReese, it may still work correctly and just break the text menus as you showed previously. That isn't unusual given how I made the mod. However, if it doesn't work please refer to the previous post. It won't corrupt anything to try it though. :steamhappy:

@RevReese and @all - I want to preface what I have to say with, "My love for this game hasn't changed in the slightest." However, given the current state of the game, the fact it is still in Beta, and my current internet woes I have decided to hold off on updating my mods until the game reaches an official 1.0 release. I realize this may upset some and I apologize, but I'm very busy with RL and I don't want to have to patch this continuously to keep it working with the current version of TKOM. I fully intend, once the game updates slow down a little and we make 1.0, to patch ALL of my mods to work properly with TKOM. To reiterate, I can't devote the attention my mods need at this time and if I can't do it right I simply won't do it... at least not yet.

@RevReese, This mod likely needs major updating since TKOM has been patched serveral times since I've had the opportunity to update it last. I have very limited internet, but I will do my best to investigate this problem, it may take a month. I'll make sure to update the page and add a comment once I've worked out the problem.

Is it still okay to use? I disabled each of my other mods in turn and it is definitely this one.

@CobraVag it will conflict with Waste Processing mod as they edit the same files. However, I've now added that mod to this one. You shouldn't need it when using this mod now.

Im also using the human waste mod, is it possible it conflicts with that? Process human waste is the last item in the reaction list.

@thunderbirdlead, If memory serves I set it up to be used with the mining drill. Only the New Eden North and South pole mods have it set up for topsoil as well.

Could you please explain what you did to make the mod. I am just trying to mod for take on mars as previous modding from me to other games. I am just asking to see how you can make a different version with another material.
