Slings were very deadly. Slingers didn't just use rocks, they used lead for ammunition.

The rocks fired from slings dint just bounce off armor, they have a lot of force and could definetly be ok against armor. They are almost like ancient bullets.

No, slings bounce off of armor. Arrows are piercing it. What you're taling about works with melee weapons since the physics are different. Just look at history and see what people have used for AP missles.

Surely slings would be effective against armoured units as they are a blunt force and that would break bones and disable people.

I agree with you, but now I have no time to do this. First of all, I've created these mods to correct some aspects of the game that bothered me personally. If it can suit to other people, then I'm flattered. But I do not hunt "subscribers". I've heard you, and if I got more time in the future, I'll envisage to post these numbers, perhaps. :-)

You can still find them with Pack File Manager, it is very easy to use.

I said that I had done research that do not allow to solve the question. So I've made a choice of design in order to make all projectile weapons interesting and complementary. And I say in the description "This mod is intended to give more variety and realism to the missile weapons" : more variety and more realism don't mean "perfect realism" but more interesting choices to make when building armies. Modders and game designers aren't historians, but people who want to propose a funny and interesting experience. In my mod, slings aren't ineffective against amored unit, but only less effective than other projectile weapons so it counterbalances its high rate of fire.

Bible which is pos book has some records of it etc. Not hard to find these things if your not a lazy non fact checking pos. Its basic math and pychics lmao a heavy stone flung at x amount of speed causes x damage. Pretty simple, same princple as a long bow penetrating armour compared to a compound bow. Do research before claimin to make things more realistic.

why would a sling be less useful against armour? Ever read what a 10 gram stone would do to a helm or breast plate?! Would fracture and kill!! lmao you made the sling far from realistic.

Hey there, can you change the fire arrows aswell? I would like to use them, but they deal zero dmg at the moment, It seems pretty strange to me that an arrow with fire deals far less dmg than a normal one :/ gr8 mod btw
