Unsubscribing to keep my modlist clean, but upvoting it and starring it while I do. Thank you for your contribution to the game!

How is it called in the new version? I cannot seem to find them.
Arindel  [autor] 11 dec. 2016 la 5:24
Don't worry, I won't remove this. This mod still works for DX9 legacy so it's still useful.
Absolarix 11 dec. 2016 la 3:09
Don't delete these from the workshop. Leave them up for compatibility reasons so that people can go back and change things around until the stable version with these blocks comes out.

Love your Corner LCDs and it works great in my station ... but ... (yeah there's a but) it's missing one thing for my idea to work. I'm using your LCD as a notifier to anyone entering an area of potential dangers. For example; I have a maintenance lift with a retractable floor door that comes out of the floor. While that lift is in use, I'd like the LCD to display a virtical scrolling text of "Caution" and "Lift In Use". Unfortunately I know jack squat about programming in C sharp. Also I can't find a scrolling text script anywhere. Do you have any ideas or know someone to ask? I would really appreciate it. This project is a big one and I would really like t finish it. Please feel free to check out my screen shots. Thanks

I'm interested in what you will do for them, your mods are very nice and definitely useful.
Morphik 3 nov. 2016 la 12:52
If you are unfamiliar with my mods I make Bars and gauges textures for LCDs I wanted to know the height so I could make proper textures, with three different heights I'll have to adapt a new plan. I might wait and see if they change anything when they implement the mod. Still awesome for you to not only have one of your mods but two put into game.
Arindel  [autor] 3 nov. 2016 la 12:49
512x136 for small corner LCD and 512x160 for small corner flat LCD.

Forgot to mention, those have their own default_offline texture packaged into mod to preserve the texture in case they are ever updated and break the mod.
Morphik 3 nov. 2016 la 12:41
Yeah, I just thought about them posibly changing from yours to vanilla. If they don't change, knowing it's 512x64 will be a big help. Also are the small blocks using a larger UV map? Looks like they show half of the full texture, like 512x256?
Arindel  [autor] 3 nov. 2016 la 12:33
@Morphik:
It uses the default texture from game, "default_offline.dds" which is 512x512. The UV-map of the LCD texture face takes exactly 512x64 of that texture as shown here: https://imgur.com/a/6JD5r

This is not set in stone, the models that will be in vanilla game might be different in some way or another.
Morphik 3 nov. 2016 la 12:16
Arindel, I make LCD mods. Since yours are being added to Vanilla soon, can you tell me the pixel hieght of these so I can start making mods for them.
Arindel  [autor] 3 nov. 2016 la 12:11
Thanks, guys!

Has anyone has any success in getting MMaster's Automatic LCDs working with these?
darthsiddious 13 iul. 2016 la 20:03
How did you center the text on these pannels?
Sergeant Toast 2 iun. 2016 la 17:08
So many sign mods, and this one is so simple yet is 1000x better than them all, nice, im dumping the other sign mods after this.

Great Work! I'm currently formatting an LCD texture pack for these. I'm impressed that a singular format can accomodate ell of the Corner LCD's! Thanks! And again, Great Work! If you want to see what they look like, I posted a screenshot on my profile. Sadly, I don't know how to upload or link my mod. I did include textures for: Bridge, Crew Quarters, Utility Area, Engineering, Galley, Lavatory, Control Room, and Ore Processing. The side images are part of my logo and I'm still color adjusting them. I can through Photoshop batch change the font, font color, and arrow colors without having to do singular edits. There are textures for each item as well as left and right textures. This makes my game so much nicer and personallized.
lil john la flame 🔥 9 apr. 2016 la 0:18
how do you use them?
Colony 23 mart. 2016 la 9:04
Can you make these also in a vertical format? so they write the text top to bottom?
e.g.:
M
E
D
B
A
Y
MattLebrao 16 mart. 2016 la 8:10
My mistake guys, the LCD works fine. Because of a 1 "true" as second parameter when setting the text, the game was attempting to write an almost infinite text on it and running out of memory...
Note to self: Be careful with copying and pasting.
MattLebrao 8 mart. 2016 la 0:11
Anyone had success changing the text with a programmable block? The same code works fine for the game's original LCD, but causes the game to crash when I try to alter this one :/
Great mod, though!

would it be possible to make one that moves fromright to left or vis versa?
LordF84 24 febr. 2016 la 7:58
It could be nice to add many lines , not only one....very useful with lcd script

i love this mod GJ
[ [ DUMPY GRIMBO ] ] 23 febr. 2016 la 12:15
Could you resize the small grid LCDs to be about the scale of the large grid version? Like make it 3x1 or something? I just want a version thats good for a "Small Ship Gone Large" recreation of Port Olisar...
Spock The Builder 16 febr. 2016 la 19:50
Also would be nice to have a lot of the small ship LCDs available on the large grid, as well as some corner LCDs with railings on the side so they can stand one block high without floating or needing an attachment point.
Spock The Builder 16 febr. 2016 la 19:47
It would be cool to see some that are twice as tall, or even 2 small lcds next toeacother in the same block with seperate controls... if possible. I'm building cockpit controls and display screens, but keep running out of room on the tiny screens. They work great for autoupdating single lines of text, but not for 2-3 lines or progress bars
