Did a try, altered it to 6 turns, during a mission my game crashed 2 times. Maybe coincidence but when I reinstalled the mod game worked fine. Will leave it like this, 3 turns is better than losing my progress.

@Super I don't know if it'll mess with your saves, but everything should be okay if you first make a copy of (1) the file and (2) your latest save) and then edit the copy. If your save is messed up, then delete the copied/altered file, put the original back in, and use the backup save.

Problem is, the file im supposed to edit is marked "Dont edit" which I assume would be bad for my saves if I did.
I found the line that modify the turns, is it ok if i modify that?

This mod is a good idea but in LW2 at least 50 troops of my barracks are Most Wanted which means every time i start with reinforcements coming, and they actively seek me in map, converging on my stealthy positions.
This isnt gamebreaking but im gonna try modify the ini if i find it so they delay more than 3 rounds or something similar.

When can we expect for this to be made compatible with WOTC? I love this mod due to how it forced me to use different troops aside from my best.

I doesn't seem to compatible with WOTC on my end, tried 2 games with it turned on and both crashed after Gatecrasher.

Personally I don't see this mod being redundant with the WOTC fatigue system. They don't do the same things after all, neither lore-wise or mechanics-wise. I always used to have this mod on and I do hope there will be a WOTC update. Adds another challenge level for sure.

Indeed savagame crashes during combat. Also I cannot figure out how to change the position in squad selection screen. Lastly, I suspect this interferes with squad status, retaining it "on mission", thus unavailable, even after missions are completed, effectively wiping it out of gameplay. Any fix would be welcomed so I may reenact this cool mod.

RealityMachina, I have many of your mods, like this/ Squad Cohesion, more missions, more cities, etc.
Please tell me thatyou are planning to make your old mods capable of running with the xpac. I am happy to wait a week or 2 for my mods to update before playing. But, is this planned? I am not running LW2, just the regular game heavily modded.

Either way, for the record, I lvoe your work, plrease keep it up, you (and a couple others) made a good game GREAT imho.

For som dumb reason the mod refuse to properly save the settings xcom setting changer allows for. Lik Changing the Normal/Strong reinforcement always goes back to Standard.

Hi. I subscribed to this mod, launced the game, quit and restart per the directions on the screen. When I start a new campaign, the game crashes about 10 seconds into the cinematic sequence with the reporters talking. I unsubscribed from the mod and the game still crashes at the same spot. I'm on a mac.

Any ideas how I can fix this issue? Thanks for the help.

Did kbackers values work for anyone with LW2?? Seems like nothing changed with notriety being in a bad spot on all the screens

I tried this with long war and it is hard as hell. I mean with such little soliders at my disposal and the notoriety of a bunch of my soldiers in the 100s, this is brutal on Long war 2.

So, I've reached a point in my current campaign where I'm comfortable enough to no longer care about notoriety and just go in with my top soldiers, and I'm not sure if all notoriety affects are properly applied:
I went on a guerilla op with roughly 105 squad notoriety, but enemy detection ranges were normal, which allowed me to set up a typical ambush. It also feels like the map alert for 40+ notoriety doesn't do much: I still had to hunt down the last two pods across the map, they didn't converge on my location.

Besides this I feel like there might be room to add additional notoriety thresholds beyond 40 that are even more severe.

Ahh ok, I have both. I didn't look through all the pics, but most didn't have the Squads button, but I see it on the last image, I will post further there.

Dragon32 is right. The squad button is part of the cohesion mod.

I think it came with this mod (I have several) but I did see it in the pic above, there is a squad button. I click it and can make a squad name but have not found anything to do with it, not sure how to add people to the squad. I am playing with the fatigue mod, and some others that add more missions, so I run with 3 main squads, and also an additional that doesn't get used all the time, being able to set them to that would be really helpful. How can I fill out the squads? If this was not your mod, please let me know, but I am hoping it is as I can see it in the first mod image above.

@D00D! Fishy Cowboy!: That sounds very interesting, actually. But, with the last part, at the very least, would probably require the civ to be set as a VIP, meaning it wouldn't be a random chance on an encounter.

I swear I remember years ago when XCOM 2 was hyped, it was mentioned that Civs could possibly be friendly depending on how well you do. Looks like that wasn't possible to do, I guess. :V

Great mod indeed. The notoriety system adds to the lore better than the fatigue.

I already have this and squad cohesion and I plan to add the "additional Dark Events" and "additional mission types" for my next playthrough.

@JonIrenicus I started a playthrough of this a little while ago and didn't even think about modding to get more base soldiers. Playing on Commander with ABA2 (base pod size).

I definitely had to hire a lot of rookies throughout and now that I'm leveling up more, I found I don't quite have enough high soldiers notoriety < 10 per mission, so I've hired a few extra experienced soldiers from the black market. Probably hired 15ish extra rookies in total, plus 2-3 veterans. Lost something like 2-4 soldiers to early game shenanigans.

Hi, do you think you can make use of LW's Civilian Yelling to create a sort of 'Positive reputation'? Basically, you have a non-decaying reputation for the squad that only decays when they kill civis and it will grant several boons when you reach different thresholds. Civilians might help you by providing a distraction, providing some supplies/intel drops or even outright joining you as a rebel which means you have to escort them to your ranger.

I have been experimenting with the location for the Notoriety information on the squad loadout screen and havnt found a good spot (overlaps with the LW2 infiltration info.) Has anyone else found some decent coordinates? If so, could you please share them?

Some of my mid-ranking troopers get like 80 days of notoriety per mission. How do I still field them?

quick check: i felt there was a clash with playable aliens mod. playable aliens' notoriety did not reduce over time and would just keep stacking up with every additional mission. is this something anyone has experienced or can comment on?
