It took me an entire Sunday afternoon to do it, but I've managed to narrow down the two offending animations and replace them with the non-blood and gore variants, thus leaving all other animations in tact. This is the best we have until CA releases an official fix.

@The.PrO It doese work with DEI 1.2 but may I recommend this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=552337063 as it has been updated with DEI in mind while this awesome mod does not.

I'm currently working on updating this mod for Patch 18. In Rome 1 they had soldiers falling of walls.. siege animations sadly are missed in rome 2..

Do these animations take place during seige and town battles as well? Because I feel it would be awesome so have more siege battle animations like having soldiers kick the attackers from the walls and such.

Dude, why do not you try to make a mod with almost all the possible formations for Rome and other factions? Added to your mod it will get really cool for me to get to the total of formations that I need have a five mods installed.
Centuria, shield Screen, Shield wall square and others, in rome 1 even had a faction that made a circle with spears.
Just one more question your mod has some incompatibility with the mods:
Realistic Legionarys tactics and Realistic land & naval battles?

@Scambo2001 This mod shouldn't conflict with graphics mods, at least that I'm aware of. As for Better Greek Formations, yes there was a conflict as this mod edits the same file that the Greek Formations mod edits.... however I just went into the files of my mod and changed the name of the conflicting file, so they should be compatible now. Let me know if you're still running into this problem. Hope this helps :)

Your mod is very good now one thing I notice I have the mod Better Greek Formations when I activate the mod Kill Animation Battle Overhaul all the formations that the Better Greek Formations adds are removed.
Already with Kill Animation Overhaul (No Battle Changes) this does not happen.

doesent work for some reason... game doesent launch at all with the mod activated.
Ive got Emperor Edition with all DLC v 2.2.0
Disabling all other mods didnt help.
I want your mod BADLY...any ideas?

The most likely explanation is something is conflicting with another mod and going wrong. Are you using any other mods, and if so, which ones? (If you have too many to list, just name the ones that have anything to do with battles).

@englandaz1 Yes there are definitely animations for cavlary, both vs. other cavalry and vs. infantry! In fact there was very little when this mod was originally released, but one of the early updates fixed that (you can see in the change notes). You should see calvary men stabbing ground soldiers with spears, horses kicking soldiers to death, cavalry men getting speared in the throat, etc. As for pikes, there aren't really many dueling or elaborate kill animations in the game because you can't really do that with a pike.

Im using "More Soldiers in Units (and armies)" from Prime I just noticed that there are far more unit size mods out now. Sorry for bothering you with it.
