Nice mod but I got one question, is it normal that the chaos horde keep on coming. I defeated the 6 armies that came mid game but after that I got 2 others, and after that I got 4 others, etc. I am at turn 126 and I think I defeated like 10 chaos armies.

@ackermancole If it's that easy, then you are more than welcome to upload your own mod. You'll quickly learn that these things take time. In the meantime, please keep your empire + vassals to < 14 settlements and you'll be fine.

I believe this mod is currently broken with the new norsca DLC (not surprising to be fair). I am using this + regional occupation. Playing as norsca chaos triggered - which it is not supposed to do until you have seen off the challengers. Chaos triggered at around turn 35 as I unified norsca under my banner - I asume I reached sufficient imperium score. Thankyou for this excelent mod - due to these issues Ill be turning it off until updated. Thankyou.

Awesome dude, thanks a lot. I would have seriously rage quit if the campaign ended at turn 80-100. My average game is like 2-300 lol. How did you learn to read the script? Is it similar to some kind of programming code? Also.. side quest... I wanted to adjust the chaos recruitment patterns... you don't by chance know what in the flying fuck those numbers refer to do you? I know where in the script that chaos recruitment happens but I have no idea what changing the numbers would do lol Sorry for all the questions =D Big thanks again.

Im creating a sort of long war overhaul mod and I would absolutely love to use part of your script if that's ok. There's some other script elements I want to add as well to beef up chaos recruitment which is why I wouldn't be able to just point people here. Would it be alright if i used this as part of my script? I honeslty don't even want to know what the game is like without it lol

Hey. I was wondering. Is it normal for a new invasion force of around 4-5 Chaos Armies spawn everytime you wipe out the chaos faction? As I was playing the VC I went and destroyed the Chaos as soon as they invaded but then a new invasion force spawned next turn.

It worked on my save file mid campaign.

The reason was that chaos already invaded in stacks on turn 50, so it might be the fact that i reached the imperium level pretty quick as the VC.

But they didn't invade anymore when i added this mod.

the mod is ok but the Chaos invasions are supposed to balance the campaign.
My Empire Campaign went like this - The Greenskins had no enemies except for the Dwarfs(stalemate).At one point they had 8 stacks filled with rank 5-9 units so i had to deal with the Chaos up north + the GreenTide down south.

ps - the Top Knotz tribe wiped out the southern Human kingdoms + local Dwarfs.

I doubt it but I hope you are correct. Anyway the mod is working for me (at least i think so, first chaos around turn 140, final chaos between turn 180-200) so maybe my theory is correct? :steamhappy:

I doubt it will require a new campaign, but i think it triggers on your turn, so turn before that it happens is already too late. :P

when i plaid greenskins turn 31! chaos comes (theyr first forces starrt at north) and i am using not this mod but is it normal to have chaos on turn 31?

The 2nd event occurred on turn 188 rather than turn 180. SEBSEB, you might want to update the description of your mod, or correct the turns these events occur. That said, thanks for creating the mod, other than some anxiety that Chaos would never come early on, it has been a nice adjustment to the game experience.

Okay, okay, another update - and sorry for the spam. I decided to play a few more turns, and Chaos decided to show up on turn 106!! I'm extremely relieved about this. I'm not sure why they were 6 turns late, but it seems a small matter at this point. :)

Hmm, so I was wrong about the timing of my game starting. I actually have a save file from turn 1 and I started this campaign on 12/10 at 7PM local time, or around 16 hours AFTER SEBSEB posted that the mod was updated. I guess this explains why the mod didn't show as being out of date. Now the question is, why, in turn 103 is Chaos not in the game? Based on my understanding of the mod, the latest they will appear is turn 100. Hmm. :/ Sad to see so many hours down the drain. Wonder if it would be hard to manually mod them in my save file to appear

most likely the script wont work properly as latest update by CA modified the script this mod edits.

Hmm, I started playing with this mod on the 9th as it was not tagged as being outdated. I see the mod author updated for WE on the 10th. I'm currently in turn 103 in my campaign and was expecting Chaos to show, but it hasn't happened. Does this mean that my campaign is FUBAR? Anyway to recover without having to redo 103 turns? - Playing as Empire, if that has any relevance.
