I know the lords keep them binded but I like the idea of undead rising due to independent magic or even a disease

Not really, If their lord dies the magic channelled to keep them alive is gone so they should instantly drop dead.

Realistically all undead units should be immune to crumbling, however if no lords or heroes exist on the battlefield then all undead units would start to go berserk (like elephants in rome) against all living units (including your own living units like mercenaries). This mod might be old, but I am just putting the idea out there.

I would buy the second game if you made this mod for it. Seriously this is a must have mod for me to play twh1. Seriuosly this was what made tw warhammer super fun and replayable for me. Great Job bruh.

Yeah this mod is good if you only use this and no other undead mods, which the majority of people use.

Don't know if this is possible or not, but is there any way to set this mod to load after the Radious mods so that it's leaderhip changes take affect? I know that this works in other games with mods that change that same stats, such as Skyrim for example. You can set one mod to load after another if you prefer a specific set of changes to apply between the two. Since there isn't anything but a stat change going on, this should be possible right? Was hoping there was a cheat to get this to work with Radious!

Very nice. Its a completely different aspect to fight the undead, because the system of targeting the leadership of a few to root all doesnt work anymore... this is much better

I honestly don't mind the crumbling, because the tabletop has always had a similar function when it comes to undead and leadership. I think the lore behind it is something about damage causing a strain on the necromantic energies keeping them animated or the concentration of the necromancer. So you know, not actually CA's fault this time. That aside, the point of mods is to customize the game for different peoples' preferences, so this seems like a nice addition to people who want their zombies to be more efficient arrow fodder.

This mod fucks the lore so hard--you clearly know nothing about the lore of Warhammer Fantasy. It also makes the undead absurdly overpowered.

Having said that, can you make a mod for me that makes it so that Vampire Lords, Vampire Heroes, Necromancers, Master Necromancers, and Blood Knights are all unnaffected by crumbling--so essentially, they are unbreakable?

hey could you make it so that they start crumbling only if the lord dies, i believe that it will be more realistic this way as the leader is the one supplying the magic keeping them alive.
Not sure if this is possible though :/

okay thank you, becuase now my gyrocopters/bombers and gobo chariots, have the undeead attribute. they say that they are disintergrating and crumbling, etc. when they should be routing. when it says theyre crumbling, they dont, i was only wondering if you had any suggestions as to why they would be, i only asked as it was this mod i installed then took off and it happened. im not accusing or whatever. im just seeing if you had any ideas as to why its happening? thanks for getting back though!

@ SoE I Tartarus This mod only effects vampire units I had to personally edit each unit individually so any non vampire unit should not be changed in any way and what I did with the crumble ability was reduce the damage to zero and removed the visual effect.

If any non vampire units has over 6000 morale then let me know which ones and I will look into it but if they don't then I would recommend checking your other mods to see if any of them are causing this problem.

hi, i was playing with this mod and then decided to take it off, it gave all chariot units and gyro copters the ability to crumble/disintergrate, etc. and ever since you removed the ability to crumble altogether, the gyrocopters and chariots have become a massive nuiscence. i was wondering if there was a way aroudn this?

@ViRALiC Sadly I don't have the dlc because I don't really play this game anymore but I do make sure to keep an eye out for patches so that I can keep my mods up to date.

couldnt you recreate the mod, like except from putting leadership to 6k, just try and remove the ability crumble from units, because last battle took 20m even after wiping out the 3 lords, i had 3 armies to deal with.

wouldnt be bad if they just ran away instead of crumbling or something

isn't there a unit trait that makes them unfazed? why not just use that. think it was a orc lord and a dwarf lord that has it.... or can't you use them on normal units

Big fan of this, it makes the undead play as you'd expect and doesn't make them OP as most of their units are still weak as piss! lol. Only problem is that skeleton warriors and spears don't seem to have the ~6500 leadership.. (and still appear to take crumbling damage) all of the rest of the undead roster are working fine though. (i've tried it without any mods enabled and still have the issue, would be great if you could fix it!)

@ThePunisher If you load this after Radious then it should work but it will give the undead units the vanilla stats instead of the Radious stats.

@kopelt07 Radious makes changes to the same files this mod does so I assume that it will conflict but if it does conflict then the worst that will happen is that this mod wont funtion for you. It wont break your game or anything. :)

I'm curious just how much this will conflict with Radious Total War and Total Units Mods? If all this mod changes is the crumbling affect, specifically, and only for undead faction, I would figure it wouldn't make any game breaking differences and would literally only affecdt that one thing; which I'm totally okay with. But I'm not a modder, so I don't really know.

I would like to go ahead and use this mod if it won't break the game or do anything outrageously ridiculous, but if it's too risky I'll just pass by it. What are your thoughts on this? Is there any possible way this could be made compatible with the Radious mods I meantioned earlier?

It works great, they don't crumble, but when playing Vampire Counts do not have this turned on until you have defeated the other Vamp factions next to you, their units don't crumble either and if they have a few units more than you, you will know you will have nothing left except a big monster thrasing the last survivers until it dies or wins,no low level lord can stay alive long enough to watch that show...A must have if you want your zombies to be actual zombies that refuse to stop until you put them down.

Would it be possible to replace crumbling with "melee-defence-drops-to-zero"? That way if their "moral" drops to zero they still have to be cut or shot down rather than just falling over on their own which is so frustrating and unsatisfying, especially if you've pulled them out of combat and they're not in danger anymore yet they still crumble.

I feel that if you flanked and surrounded a group of skeles/zombies they'd be easily confused and disorientated because their weak ethereal minds can't assess changing situations well. They'd desperately begin flailing their arms wildly at their foes, allowing their attackers to easily counterstrike their weak points.
