Imagine thinking that you should have the ability to remotely remove someone's free public content that they worked hard on a long time ago just because you think you're entitled to control what exists on the workshop ten years later.

I don't understand why we're unable to just mark mods that are not working so they get taken down... Honestly, 80% of this game's workshop is filled with outdated, broken, obsolete mods from 2015. Annoying AF.:steamfacepalm:

@THEFORCE have you gotten permission from Saga to update this mod? If so have you updated it so it works now, I've also got some others that wont work because they also need to be updated.

When someone tries to place and crash-disconnects, the Serverlog says: "No definition 'MyObjectBuilder_Cockpit/(null)'. Maybe a mistake in XML?"

On my server the these cockpits (and the hanging seat) disappeared, and whoever wants to place one immediately disconnects. Is that because of the new update 1.197? I have the same problem with a few other mod blocks.
Any idea? :(

Seem the Type 2 style cockpits are broken, can't enter them. Other ones can enter and exit just fine.

You should update the Patreon link on this page to the new account over at EctoSage. Also, I just wanted to say that I would be very grateful if this mod could be separated into isolated pieces?

For example:
Cockpits and Chairs
Conveyors
Thrusters

And you can chain them together with a linked collection? Just a thought, thank you for reading.

Hay EctoSage. any chance of getting a version of the round cockpit that has an access door in the back, like the basic vanilla cockpit? There are a few situations where this would be advantagous when building.

Okay, did a little digging in the .sbm and .sbc files, think I found out why this happens. It appears that the larger conveyors in the pack are basing airtightness around their mount points, like for many other blocks in the game...the key seems to be that instead of being listed as whole numbers for the start and end positions of the X and Y coordinates of each mount point (say, starting from X and Y being 0 and the end of X and Y being 3), they've been listed as integers of 0.1 for the start of X and Y and 2.9 for the end of X and Y.

Since the game tends to think of small blocks being 1x1x1 meter cubes, that 0.1 and 2.9 gets rounded down to the nearest whole number block, so instead of the mount point being 3x3 for the purposes of airtightness it gets counted as 1x1. Looking at the conveyors using Build Info seems to confirm this, as it lists airtightness as being 6 faces out of a total of 54 - 54 being the total surface area of a 3x3x3 meter cube divided into 1x1 meter faces.

Well, a lot of the parts of the mod still work...oddly tho, it appears that the large-size small ship conveyor tubes aren't terribly airtight, despite their block volume and shape suggesting they are airtight. Been having to redo a lot of my current ship design to take that leakiness into account, which is rather aggravating since I only JUST discovered this partway through. Any ideas on how that particular problem can be fixed? Whether it's an official update from EctoSage or a more fast-and-loose .cfg edit

These cockpits look awesome. However, I'll say what others have. They don't have enough entry angles so they are difficult to use. An update with more entry points would be great.

as much as i love these cockpits, especially for welder ships and the like, getting inside of them is a bitch. you have to fly around and look for the sweet spot, only to lose it a second later.

After some analysis it is the cockpits that seem to be the issue, probably an animation that has a problem.

I like the cockpits for a change of pace, but they tend to obstruct view more than improve your view in first person. I loved this mod for the conveyor conversion pieces, but sadly the latest update has broken this mod. It causes the game to crash on load.

Cockpit hit boxes are outdated and as a result they are difficult to access. Love how they look, but getting in them is quite annoying. Please fix this, I love this mod and don't want to give up on it just because it's hard to use.
