Is the mod affected by the new updates? I have problems displaying the dynamic graph.

I've been using this mod for years. It only just occurred to me that the relations tab replaces the faction tab. The problem I've just encountered though is that I need to access the faction tab and can't find it anywhere. Does this mod move it to somewhere else or remove it entirely?

I talked to GonDragon and on UI Not Included's end the InterfaceTryActivation function that tries to set up everything before the tab opens isn't happy because of the null object error in the Relations Tab.

I get countless errors every time I open the tab added by this mod:

I can't seem to set the leader of my faction in the factions tab anymore. I've noticed that edit button disappear in the past, but typically a reload would fix it. Doesn't appear to fix it anymore.

@all: I've just pushed an initial 1.5 version. Everything seems to work, but I haven't had the time to test on late-game colonies, so please continue to let me know if (when) things go wrong.

@cauamachado51, @Shadow: You can switch between colonists and factions using the button in the top left. I agree that it's missing the table overview of the vanilla faction tab, will add that as a future enhancement.

@Jet: Yeah, it's hard (for me, at least) to tune the algorithm for an unpredictable number of nodes. You have two options, the preferred one would be to go into the mod settings, and change the parameters of the algorithm until things no longer explode. The easy option is to click the circle icon in the top right, to just put all nodes on a circle and not use the force directed algorithm.

@Mox, @ziplock9000: Yeah, the colours for family relationships are not explained, and can sometimes be misleading. I'll look into adding a key/making them editable.

This mod makes the faction tab very bad, basically replaces with its settler relations.

I have a father and son who have a positive (+100 and +83 respectively), and yet their relation colour is red?

Weird that this is the only mod touching the factions tab (or so it seems). The vanilla tab is just so bad! Even the vanilla Ideologions tab would do a better job if applied to factions.

But this doesn't even display *factions*.
So perhaps, sir Fluffy, you could consider a mod for better Factions tab? Even just make it the same as Ideos, that already would be great.

Too bad this mod removes the faction tab completely, I would have been better to have a switch in the settings that gives us the ability to remove the old faction tab or keep it..

When there are a lot of worksite quests, the faction tab from this mod will get bloated to the point that it becomes unresponsive. The mod tab actually attempts to display ALL factions, including HIDDEN ones. So to all people who somewhere along the mid-game find the tab to be filled with a dozen duplicate factions or outright not working anymore, this is the reason why. Create a new game with only this mod enabled, spawn 50 worksite quests through dev mode and see for yourself what happens when you open the faction tab.

Have you considered giving the Family Tree mod a try, instead? That's a fork of Fluffy's Relationship Tab mod. Instead of displaying everything in a complicated circle, it shows your pawns in a structured Family Tree. Perhaps it would not be nearly as laggy?

The mod becomes extremely laggy on faction relationship page when there are many factions, this situation becomes worse after biotech as mods are adding more factions for each newly added xenotypes. Would it be possible to cache faction good will because it is the largest overhead of the window?

I have noticed that a message will come up saying that relation has increased (tendency to go towards natural goodwill) and the relation will decrease randomly/ I have a +99 with the Empire and it went down 13. This has been happening with every single faction and I am about to be at war with everyone at this pace. Is this a bug?

I've noticed that for children, the relationship between the parents and their kids are always red no matter the opinion. Maybe I missed something obvious, but that doesn't seem to be the right colour. In contrast for example, spousal relationship colours are blue and positive relationship colours are green.

Relations tab no longer loads after a few hours of gameplay into a save, and it crashes my game now when I open it. Additionally, even while it was working, the graphics are super cluttered and it doesn't save your position or make it easy to recover. I'd rather remove all the graphical nonsense and keep it stable. Unsubscribing for now.
