@TocCo Do Master swordsmen benefit from any technology or from Hero buffs like Honest Steel?

Hello, i love this unit, i think this is one of the best looking swordman unit i've ever seen in 1000 hours of playing.

Please, can you Rebalance this unit in view of new patches?

or Maybe make this mod compatible with SFO?

Only a suggestion, it's not better put the unit of master swordsmen in a number of 12 or even 24 units only? because it appears the elite swordsmen

These guys are classed as tier 2, which is same as greatswords. To put them to tier 1 would be weird..they do benefit from swordsmen tech tree as they are also set to infantry and state troops. So its a mix of benefits

Hey i just wann thank u for this mod. I've always searched for something like a lategame unit like this because i think the greatswords are pretty useless in comparison to some other late game units. I've got one wish : Could u redesign it so that the Master swordsman benefit from the "Honest Steel" Skill tree which can be skilled by every lord of the empire. This would boost them a little bit in power :)

The new single man hero unit dies very easily. He hasn't made it through any battles, tending to die as soon as he engages in combat.

Hey TocCO, just a heads up, I tried using your mods for the first time since this last DLC and every one of them are crashing my game. I'm curious if this is only because they arent updated? Maybe one of these subs can let me know. Either way, the units look excellent and I hope I can use them in the future. Thanks for your work.

I got same crash issue, just confirming. Autoresolve works fine, opting to fight the battle, game crashes.

Units are mute after the update.

Cataph: "The actor was changed in main_units for most units (if I recall correctly, to something like voice_actor_*faction*_dude1 etc). Voiceover pokes were changed in land_units too but that's less important. You need the first change fixed if your units are mute."

You may want to fix Master Swordsman not needing armoury or blacksmith, as they can be easily gotten before elite swordsman atm, which seems backwards (and the AI spams them).

@HeySexy sure thing. I looked thru the list, and I can't find any that would be a problem. They should be compatible, since all of my units use a custom weapons table, and the mod list doesnt have proper combat or anything. And even if it did, it would jsut be the mod not affecting the attacking speed of the unit; everything else would apply.

@Mr.G I'm not sure what you mean. Weapon sounds are hardcoded into the game, I can only adjust the weapon's stat and type. If I input sword, then sword sounds will play for that. And this not being a sound mod, or a graphics mod, I have no clue as to why it would make your computer lag. It could be just your computer lacking power, or your speakers, too many factors to say this could be the culprit unless of course, you already went thru all your mods one by one
