You're absolutely right Timoeeei: You are stuck down below the shaft until you solve all the puzzle elements down there in order to get access opened back up top. I stated that very clearly in the map description so that you would know ahead of time what to expect. I don't write map descriptions describing a catch in puzzle system without a reason!
All in all, I hope this to be one of the final updates to the map and have it as close to a "final" release as possible. This may change if any future feedback spots final flaws in the system or I spot any other cheats/bypasses to the puzzles, but for the most part its all looking solid. Thanks to everyone who has helped out with their input to make this map the best it can be.
Also changed the final room up to the exit from glass panels into a fizzler. I was getting reports of getting the redirection cube stuck up there and having no way out. The fizzler, while not a pretty solution, will at least give you a way out and a way to destroy and respawn the cube that might have otherwise been stuck behind the glass panels.
Eagle32: How did you use the surfaces to get stuck across the water? I did my best to design only one of the ledges across the water to be accessible and its not supposed to be the ledge with the laser cube dispenser. I guess I could add a fence/glass wall around the laser cube platform to make it more obvious there should only be one point of access to the cube? Other than that I am at a loss.
On another note, if you'd like a challenge, try the first map I made. Guaranteed to keep you guessing to the end, and needs some feedback:
