Not bad. Would probably work better without SFO. Clan Angrund just molested the Border Princes to death, as well as some other oddities.

The Vampire Counts should lorewise be their own faction. They should be hostile to Chaos and Dwarfs but indifferent to the Empire as they have worked together against Chaos and Greenskins. Greenskins should be hostile to everyone and vice versa.

Sip. It is true. As Empire, I have very bad relations with everyone, and I have not declared war on anyone ever. Nobody accept any kind of diplomatic agreements since the first turn, except perhaps, with a insane amount of money. The dwarves fighting versus human, even against other dwarves.

The truth, in the world of warhammer, everyone has ever fought against everybody, but after this last patch, the mod has taken a sharp turn in its operation. It is better than the vanilla game, but not much different.

Anyway, I like the mod.

so the elector counts are fighting each other, the dwarves, bretonnia, by turn 20, it happened after this update iam guessing, is there any way i can fix this, plzz, i love ur light/dark faction idea very much, but now they fight each other meaninglessly :(

With this most recent update im suddenly -9500 ALL non-orc factions. What's happened to the
"Light" and "Dark" faction grouping thing?

@SeriousBanana yes, make it a bit more difficult to start friendly relations, but -20 should be possible to handle. i.e. with some presents, same enemys ... :)

It is true, but many people, like myself, have problems with the game launcher. You can read about these problems in various forums. These problems prevent us sort the mods. And also prevent can check the checkbox to use obsolete mods. To avoid that, the mod must be uploaded to the workshop.

It's sad, but it is. At least until CA fix this problem.

Difficult to edit, that orcs dont confederate, but with last update this happen less often. Maybe the leaders of the tribes fights a duell, to show who is stronger and bigger, of course orcs do that, often. :)

First analysis of Update 3: 125 game turns as Empire. Overall very good balance in the map area of ​​the Empire / Breton. Best of all, is that the dwarves of this area (Karak Hirn, Karak Ziflin, Karak Nor, etc) are no longer fighting continuously with the bretonian peoples. At first they had some squabbles, but quickly peace agreement was signed and the dwarves sent their troops in their fight against the Norse, Orcs or VC. Almost everything perfect in this area.

South of Black Fire Pass is another story ... The Bloody Spear orc tribe, allied himself early on with Greenskin, which made all the dwarves of the area disappear completely. Karaz to Karak, Karak Kadrin, Karak Azul, Zhufbar, Karak Varr, ALL were kicked quickly in this game. On turn 75 no longer exist dwarfs in that area of ​​the map.

Interestingly, the orcs Bloody Spear allied themselves with the Vampire Counts defensively, which apparently served to both factions easily overran Karak Kadrin that in my previous games with the version 2 of this mod almost always survived.

The truth is that the VC were doing a very good job in this game. They contained a good number of enemies without too much trouble, retaining all its regions of origin and some more.

So far the game is very interesting, except for the dwarves disappeared so quickly. In general everything is quite balanced. In my view, one would have to climb dislike the orcs are among them, as it is incredible that many humans have with another humans factions -15 or more, and that all the factions "Dark" have only -5 with each other. thanks for your posts @maska_zgz, the warhammer history is full of many different examples and from different ages. I will take a look at all, to pay credit to the lore. generally it should be possible to form confederaations or alliances between light factions and dark factions, but not light and dark side by side. orks fight themselves often, thats right, but can form pacts too if a warboss is strong enough to hold them together. for a better understanding for third people i speak about light and dark factions, because as tabletop veteran i know its more complex to understand.
In Vanilla i didnt like the many peace/trade and alliance offers from some factions, like vampire to dwarfs i.e., this broke the atmosphere for me and disturbed me very much, it shouldnt possible. now they may stop fight because they tooo weak at a point, but never should offer alliance/trade.

Thanks for the update. However I am not entirely convinced that such an approach, "Light" vs "Dark" is most appropriate in some cases, if we rely on the Lore.

For example, the orc tribes continuously fighting each other, and often this helped save peoples of the "Light" of the endless green tide. If it is true that during the war against Chaos (c.2302), many orcs joined the Chaos, and many others do not. In fact, during the Storm of Chaos (c.2521), Grimgor Ironhide beat Archaón, the Great Chosen of Chaos, in single combat at the gates of Middenheim. But, an alliance of Orcs and Chaos is feasible. However, the orcs fear and hate the Undead, and usually fight whit them or flee their influence, as happened with Nagash or Kadon. They not seek alliance with them never, according to the Lore.

About Vampire Counts and Chaos, they do not want humans to disappear under the threat of Chaos as they would without a flock. They have teamed often with humans against Chaos, fighting side by side and winning together. As Mannfred did during the Storm of Chaos. And the Vampire Counts are considered an aberration by the various factions of Chaos. Yeah, it's funny, but it is. Chaos worshipers have a curious stance on vampires. The followers of the Blood God's consider as blasphemers who steal the vital fluid that legitimately belongs to Khorne. Being immune to the disease, Nurgle devotees also detest they. So, in conclusion, although it may seem appealing a struggle of Good vs. Evil, this does not respect the Lore at all. In addition, you can create a very large imbalance in the campaign game. Because if the tribes of Orcs and Goblins are allied with each other, the dwarves located south of Black Fire Pass surely be wiped off the map, as often already it happens in the game Vanilla, at least Karak Azul and Barak Varr, but a much faster and sudden way, breaking the balance of the area. Not to mention the speed when creating confederations ... Orcs should fight each other.

The truth is that I've been playing several games with the previous version of your mod, and it was magnificent. The campaigns were incredibly balanced, except perhaps, at the insistence of the Dwarves south of the Empire (Karak Ziflin, Karak Nor, etc) that continuously insisted on attacking human kingdoms once had ended the threat of orcs in the area. But this is not bad. It is even logical. And they did it in a very balanced way without disappearance of factions. They have been the best games I've played in a long time.

Thanks, i will overwork stats in this case. Im thinking about -20 for friendly factions (instead -50 now). Starting with + XX i wont, so theres still little chalenge for us to take care about Friendship of our neighbours. :)

I agree with SeriousBanana, i like the idea but it would be nice if for example estalia wouldn't just attack bretonnia in the first turns and the different karaks wouldn't backstab you everytime
