I never care about DEI, you must find out yourself if it's compatible (I can only hope so,...)
The mod should include all factions having a certain defensive update like this
Aristoxenus 22 Oct, 2021 @ 5:14pm
With all factions or just Rome?

Will this get an update to patch 19? No pressure, just wondering as I love the mod.
Ragnar 10 Dec, 2019 @ 4:17pm
Ok but are they DEI compatible?

You may try out my mod "LEGIO OPTIMUM" or "LEGIO APEX" (last one still in progress) wich give you 50 units per army for OPTIMUM and 41 units per army for APEX. Both have additional garrison units. Be aware that you also need the mod "LEGIO" (the mother mod)

Would you be able to make a mod just adding garrisoned units to all factions please? I play with a mod that makes all armies stacks up to 41 units and so the original garrisoned units are a bit to low and where assigned that way for the armies that have 20 units a stack

Hey buddy were you able to update them? If not, I understand and I hope you enjoyed your holiday break :)

The newest upgrade of Creative Assembly is rather drastic. This is why all around the community modders are working very hard to keep their mods working as they did before. Many tables have been changed. The changes, made by Creative Assembly, forces modders around the world to alter their mods, which in some cases could take some time. I can only hope for you, subscribers, to have a little patience. I'm working very hard to get my mods to be compatible with the newest 'patch/DLC'. The upgrades should be launched by 16th of DECEMBER.

Is this compatible withe latest DEI update?

This mod is the version of 'AVE: Fortifications' to combine with Divide et Impera and will only work with that mod.

The mod was created to make small settlements more able to defend. The garrison troops have extra units, with a small siege engine for 'civilized' factions and extra cavalry units for 'barbarian' factions. All garrison units receive a bonus in battle (different for each faction group). The defensive structures can be deployed in the settlement when besieged, but are also available in the rest of the region (when an army is attacked outside the settlement)

Hey, Sorry I'm having an issue with your grammar and syntax so I can't understand most of it.

So does this mod , which works with DeI 1.1, just give you, the player, the ability to just create fortifications if you're defending? Or does it allow you to build Fortifications when you're defending in a settlement? I'm sorry I really need clarification because it's giving me a headache for some reason trying to understand this.

And I'm not understanding the bit about garrison units
REGNATOR  [author] 19 Aug, 2016 @ 6:38am
The fortifications are now only available for the owning faction and no longer for all factions in the region (command line was wrong and should now be fixed)

Thank you for your reply, I 'll see if anything got wrong

First, I will say this is a great mod. Much better than ones that add walls to the minor settlements. However I think I have encountered a bug. I am running DEI 1.1. I had besiged an AI settlement with fortifications and planned to starve them out. During the Ai's turn the army the was in the city (in addtion to the garrsion) sallied out. In the resulting battle I was the "defender" so I got access to the fortification benifits.
