Please enjoy!
You stated: " Besides, investment in modding goes in hand with interest for the game, and like you said it hasn't and won't be receiving updates for a long while. This mod for me was pretty much 20% making fun new blocks, and 80% fixing things because of updates breaking them, it gets really tiring really fast honestly."
Well, there are no more updates planned for ever for MedEng, so they wont bug your mod anymore! :) Win Win for you and us :)
Hope to see this updated:)
I often play medieval engineers because I particularly appreciate the spirit of construction. I like to test mods and I pay tribute to those who make them. I am not a prog specialist, I know nothing, but I am passionate about the fortifications of the Middle Ages. In this game, there are nevertheless oddities of dimension, such as coarse machicolations, no archers typical of strong castles and it also misses a small spiral staircase which could fit into the wall (in the large square block for example).
Also, for the talented prog, there is work.
And it's up to us, the players, to encourage you and promote your work.
Continue if you can, I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks so
PS: I trust google for the translation from French to English.
Hm, would you consider sharing the mods assets somewhere then? I very much liked to use this mod back in the day and since i have now some moddeling experience myself and i really don't like the non-functional vanilla parts i may at least try to revive it. Don't want to make any promises though, this would be a lot of slow work.
Also, there is one good side to the game being more or less abandoned now. At least there won't be any more updates to break stuff.

I waited a long time before deciding to write to you. I am French and I hope that the Google translation will be faithful to this email.
I was using your mods with version 6 of medieval, but with version 7, this mod is incompatible. I was waiting for your update, but I feel like you have given up. It's really a shame, because it brought a significant added value to achieve more real construction. In addition, archers are worthy of the name.
It would be so nice if this mod could work with version 7.
And if this message remains unanswered, it does not matter, it does not detract from the quality of this mods.
See you soon, I hope.
Shit. It was good while it lasted. But without your blocks, the game is pretty much dead to me.
I do understand that it is pointless to create mods for a game you don't feel to be playing anymore, but I (and probably many others too) would happily donate to you for your work if you would choose otherwise.
And if not, maybe you could get in touch with wolfgar7474? He did so many wonderful mods and would maybe be interested in reviving this one.
Like in space engineers were they introduced long window blocks (1*2 system without adding the needed parts of 2 by 2 for a proper connection to 1 by 1 )
:(
My thoughts exactly. Hopefully they add life and challenges other than building. Like a real AI!
Anyway, just to say, I loved this mod, and I used it a lot. Thank you for making it, and lets hope there's new things on the horizon for ME.
And the whole "devoid of live thing" kills me too, but it is still an alpha...come back in a year or two and let's see what they've done. Loved your blocks while they lasted, and hopefully this is the last time they kill off systems like this
This feels the exact same as with Minecraft 1.7.10, the game without mods doesn't fit me at all. If the game remains both as devoid of building content and of meaningful progression, that probably won't change in a long while.
If someone wants to remake the whole mod in my stead, I'll happily give them the source files. If you can help with at least the models, I can tackle the implementation.
I like the new content, but it fixes nothing to what holds me from wanting to play (and by extension mod) the game: There is bloody nothing to do! You build castles to fight off waves of nobody, invade and conquer nothing and rule eternally over lands devoid of life.
how can you even troll pll with windows ?
