USCM faction appears in the list of factions that you can select at worldgen. 1 is present by default.

Either extract the sprites and make your own def or isolate the def and sprites and remove everything else. I'd do the first one and just mimic all the stats etc. Make it a standalone mod and your good to go.

that might explain it since im still unfamiliar with how modding goes here. I have this and outpost 21 on at the same time. the republic faction works but sat the expense of everything else i modded in factionwise.

If you have a mod that alter faction AI, it can be gamebreaking yes. The thinkintree of the game can easily turn into a nightmare in modding.

Yeah I will try resubbing to it.

I would spawn both the marines and Xenos and no faction would even acknowledge they exist besides the occassional berserk temper tantrum of my colonists taking a machete to a xenomorph and hacking its legs off in exchange for a face lift.

Must be a 1.1 mod breaking thing as it also broke The Federation Arsenal mod ai too.

Super strange, for me their AI is fine. USCM colonial marines use the default AI of the game. They should not wander at all.

@darkknight Start a save without the mod enabled then enable this mod. Then it will work but the AI is nonexistant despite the USCM being friendly but both them and the xenos will wander off the map.

The USCM mods on the workshop dont have functioning ai?

They just wander off even if they get shot at. Xenomorphs and all.

Update, I disabled all other mods and it worked fine. Must be a conflict with another mod, I will experiment and figure it out.

While updated for 1.1, I'm unable to create a new game with your mod. All of your others are working beautifully with everyone else, but when I add this one, no matter where in the order, it won't let me select a settlement site for a new colony, and takes away the menu.

Can you add more possible faction names? With mods that can change the maximum number of factions, all USCM factions past the first few all get called "Errorname". I'd say about 10 is sufficient.

I think it comes from Hospitality as this mod uses vanilla behaviors. They should fight.

had an alien raid when the colonial marines were leaving and they refused to attack the aliens
the aliens just walked up to them and killed them without the marines noticing
im not sure this is a bug with this mod or hospitality

I may rebalance Xenos to have them spawn earlier, they should come at the same level of wealth as centipedes. Which is probably too late.

For USCM dudes, yeah they are a great boost for the colony and an almost mandatory help during very large scale xeno raids. Their caravans are really extortionates tho. They will buy all kind of drugs, medicine and alcohols tho. If you can send a caravan to their bases, they trade at fair price and have larger choice. Their buy the same stuff than caravans tho, for a high price !

This mod is fun...I paired it with the xenomorphs but haven't encountered them yet.
However, there maybe there's balance issues, maybe it's working as intended as a late game moneypit?

I'm running Hospitality mod, which means if I entertain folks, they gift me things. It seems like it's base on the total wealth they carry. Normal guest groups give me 50 cloth, some beer, some medicine, etc.
The Space Marines are dropping 20+ plasteel + 200+ steel PER marine. He had a 100% great time sleeping on my kitchen floor.

They are high end caravans all by themselves. He came in with 7 weapons, 8 advanced components, 20 components. I had to sell him a few components and drugs to pay for a poor shotgun and pistol, plus all my silver.
Guns seem quite a bit more expensive from them. Typical poor shotgun price is 1k silver, 500 silver for a pistol. Like I said, working as intended?

Hey like the mod thanks for it. Obviously lot of effort gone into producing and maintaining these, it shows. However you might note in the description that this mod is incompatible with faction control. It generates Errorname factions when faction control tries to spawn more than USCM faction.

I'm playing with the More Faction Interaction and USMC Marines and I don't havy any problems, but I did had a problems back in B18 when I tried to use Faction Discovery, it may cause the problems.

Will you ever make any other faction mod? I mean not like those tribes and etc., but something like USA army, or Russian Army, or something like that? I have tried some other faction mods that I have found on workshop, but only yours, this one, works perfectly.

Is it normal that the USCM generic bodysuit and standard pants have no resistances ? ( nothing is shown while you go on the properties of the item)
