What good is a recipe that requires all 4 crops at my base then to run back to the tame in only 2 min. Trash.

Would be nice to be able to craft this somewhere other than inventory or perhaps speed up the craft process. It is much faster to get prime than it is this stuff.

It's been a while, but iirc you can passive tame creatures that accept mejoberries. I'm not 100% certain though. Haven't logged into ark for a long time.
HellKitten 17 May, 2020 @ 3:04pm
does this work on animals that are passive tame? (specifically chalicotherium bc i don't want to have to make beer jars)

Can you add healing like meat does for carnivors - so I can pump feed it the medley and it heals the herbivore dinos just as fast as pump feeding a carnivor meat does?

Alright, thank u very much !

You can put "GlobalSpoilingTimeMultiplier=<value>" into Game.ini but that will affect all spoil timers in the game, not just for the meddley. Unfortunately, there isn't a way for you to change only the single item afaik. They do stack to 100 though, which makes the stack last much longer than prime which doesn't (by default) stack. I usually just make about 50% more than I need to tame something.

awesome mod! how can i change the spoiling time ? someone pls help me :)
Plunders 27 Aug, 2018 @ 10:26pm
Amazing mod man! :)

We've been running it on my server for a while now, and we see it as a must have equal to s+ and classic flyers. Feels like something the game was missing, not something out of place at all.

Very good job mate

god !!

Could you also make some raw mutton herbivore equivalent?
Maybe with honey, advanced crops, stimulant or so.
LeonaLens 6 Jan, 2018 @ 1:18am
Xandermud If you are going to do one mod with the ability to change through the GameUserSettings.ini settings, I suggest there to make weight, the size of the stack and the spoilage rate adjustments.
p.s. who needs to change recipe or crafting cost of "Veggie Medley" you can do it through Game.ini even now
Elite-Noob! 30 Oct, 2017 @ 6:31am
I found it self =D

ConfigOverrideItemCraftingCosts=(ItemClassString="PrimalItemConsumable_Veggie_Medley_C",BaseCraftingResourceRequirements=((ResourceItemTypeString="PrimalItemConsumable_Veggie_Citronal_C",BaseResourceRequirement=16.0,bCraftingRequireExactResourceType=false),(ResourceItemTypeString="PrimalItemConsumable_Veggie_Longrass_C",BaseResourceRequirement=16.0,bCraftingRequireExactResourceType=false), (ResourceItemTypeString="PrimalItemConsumable_Veggie_Rockarrot_C",BaseResourceRequirement=16.0,bCraftingRequireExactResourceType=false),(ResourceItemTypeString="PrimalItemConsumable_Veggie_Savoroot_C",BaseResourceRequirement=16.0,bCraftingRequireExactResourceType=false)))

Cool mod!
Thanks =D

How can i change the crafting cost? its op for me...
Sarah 14 Aug, 2017 @ 4:17pm
Could you make an ini setting to make the food last longer?
Xandermud  [author] 8 Jul, 2017 @ 5:21pm
This version was made by request by a friend on my server. The one with the cooking pot recipe was made for my tastes. I understand the desire to balance it for your own prefrences but I'd like to avoid having 30 versions of this mod on the workshop. Ideally I'd have one mod that could be configured by ini files to fit everyone's desires, but that's going to take quite a bit of messing with the dev kit and I just don't have the time currently.
StoicSpecimen 30 Jun, 2017 @ 10:48am
Just gonna go out and mention the reason why this one is more popular is probably the stack size, not the recipe. I would finda balance of high stacking along with a cooking pot recipe that requires 5-10 of each veggie a really good version of this mod. The four stack is the only thing that turned me away from the other version.
Xandermud  [author] 24 Mar, 2017 @ 8:26pm
The differences are listed in the description. This version crafts in your inventory via an engram and stacks to 100. The other stacks to 4 and requires a cooking pot. I had no plans to update them, only to bugfix. I just did a quick search to make sure I wasn't missing something, but I am unaware of any benefit to re-cooking the mod in a newer dev kit.
JDaremo Fireheart 24 Mar, 2017 @ 11:41am
Xander, how is this mod different from your other one?
Are you going to update both to the latest dev kit release?
I would love to consider this one for use on a server.
Xandermud  [author] 19 Feb, 2017 @ 2:39pm
Shouldn't be. The mod doesn't do anything complicated. It's about as lightweight as mods come.
haPPy 29 Dec, 2016 @ 8:45am
Rly nice work man i test it works fine :) dont know why SW dont do something like this
Xandermud  [author] 7 Nov, 2016 @ 12:15pm
Sorry for the late reply. 20 seems a bit excessive as the crops themselves seem easier to get than the seeds (1 seed + poop + time = infinite crops) and the current recipe only calls for 1 of each. And while I personaly prefer the multi-stage complex recipe (which is why I have the "Balanced Herbivore Prime Equivalent" mod that requires a cooking pot), this easier mod is much more popular telling me that people would probably prefer an easier recipe. I would propose 5 of each seed (meaning 20 total seeds). However, to avoid spaming the workshop with near-identical mods, I don't want to upload another version unless there is strong interest in it. If you'd like to see a recipe change, I've started a discussion you can comment in (and also give feedback/suggestions for a possible recipe).
Gorshank 7 Nov, 2016 @ 8:13am
great idea
Alcarnique 26 Oct, 2016 @ 9:44am
Complex: How about veggie cakes? Make paste from seeds (20 or each veggie seed = 1 unit paste) in mortar then mix with fiber (1 paste to 1 fiber) and cook in fire.

Simple: 20 each veggie seed and crafted like current medley.
Xandermud  [author] 9 Oct, 2016 @ 5:31pm
I guess it all depends on how you play. I usually have a farm going after taming a trike for berries early on. The trike is usually the only one that I tame without this. However, you are not the first to request an earlier method to aquire the medley. I would be more than happy to make a seperate mod that does just that. What would you suggest making the recipe to be?
Iirly 9 Oct, 2016 @ 11:23am
I love this mod and the idea. But in practice when we actually need prime for herbies we have not yet made farms. By the time we get farms, we have all the herbies we need or have acess to kibble. If you're early game you can get prime meat for carnivores, but this is mid game. Prime for herbies would be great for early game, like prime for carnivores.
Luigi Shizzione 20 Sep, 2016 @ 9:19pm
It crafts in your inventory. Just harvest the mats after you knock your herbivore out, craft it once back at your tame and use. Rinse, repeat.

A little easier than flying off in search of Titanboas, killing them at your tame and then feeding. At least with herbivore prime, you know exactly where you need to go, to get your next batch.

Great mod!
Greystar 19 Sep, 2016 @ 6:50am
Yes but it doesnt make sense for the herbi kibble to use eggs OR meat which they do.
Xandermud  [author] 19 Sep, 2016 @ 6:44am
This was designed to be like prime. Most herbivores already have a kibble.
Greystar 18 Sep, 2016 @ 6:54pm
really wish you made it last as long as normal Kibble, unless you have a "Herbivore Kibble" version of this mod.
termo2™ 16 Sep, 2016 @ 3:21am
We running this mod, nice work.

Hell yes, thumbs up. Needed.
SsSMonkey 13 Sep, 2016 @ 1:24am
Thank you so much. Been waiting for someone to make a mod like this.
Kisston 12 Sep, 2016 @ 4:09pm
Thumbs up for herb prime!!
Jaydan37 8 Sep, 2016 @ 2:02pm
The devs should have added some sort of "prime berry" a long time ago. Thanks for doing this!
