i am having an error. whenever i try entering ball tech, it just glitches out. I had to uninstall this mod just because it started giving me this error out of the blue. can you please help me?

This mod was designed to be compatible with multiplayer servers.
I cannot promise this mod will work with FU due to how large of a mod FU is.
It would not surprise me if this mod and FU have conflicts with each other.

@enderman0810, as explained in the description: Also, Special 1 is named "ActivateHeadTech" by default. Go to the control menu and at the bottom of the player menu the keybindings will be found there.

The keys are not binded by default and must be set by you.

Aye, it works now! I had another problem, but it was the special keys overlapped WEdit´s no-clip. I replaced those with the mod´s no-clip, thanks!

@Goldion, It means whatever key you have binded to moving your character into that direction.
You should check if the Special 2-3 keys are binded in the keybinds options menu.
Also, the mod should be working fine without a numpad.

If that's the case, you might have another tech active that has conflicting key bindings.
I.e. both techs trying to use the same bind for different tasks.

For some reason, the noclip wont activate. Or, well all commands with "Special 1". I only turn into the sphere and that's all. I may be stupid, but can someone help?

@Little Lamb, I am assuming you did this while scaled.
There has always been an issue with animations lining up properly when scaled up or down.

The configuration for lining up the parts of the character is hard coded.
Because the positioning of parts isn't adjusted for the new scale, the animations will have issues.
Unfortunately, this means I cannot fix the issue. :/

This is an amazing mod! Do you think it could be possible for one to make a larger/smaller race using the coding from this? Maybe that could allow people to make custom sprites for a small character, while also maintaining the functionality of weapons, smaller collision box, etc.

Regardless, I can't get over how well everything works! If there's ever a way to import clean looking sprites onto small characters, I would go crazy spriting everything (In a good way)

Currently, the scaling feature is bounded by 0.5 and 2.
It will go no lower or higher than this.
So besides 1 (normal size), the only other whole number scaling factor available is 2.

Currently, there's no way scaling will look perfect in every case.
Whole number multipliers look fine and some decimal numbers as well.
However, most non-whole number multipliers are bound to produce some strange appearances.

I will look into it at some point but I am not confident that there will be an easy fix to that issue.

Why does shrinking/growing look so weird? I hate having stuff look uneven when I want a small character that doesn't have mishaped arms/legs...

That is essentially my point.
They cannot work together properly.
For that to happen, I would have to make a mod specifically to work around the functions that Luanimator uses.
As I stated before, I will not be doing so.

well the problem is, if i set the luanimator sit and the aurora sit together, the aurora sit will just replace the lua sit or the lua sit will replace the aurora, that includes the special

I cannot do that since Luanimator uses the special keys and similar functions.
Trying to make this mod compatible with that one would require me to completely rework the mod.
While it is unfortunate, I will not be doing so.

You need to click: 'Special 2' + 'walk' to sit or stand (tap to toggle).
I believe walk is bound to shift by default.

It is dependent on what you have your keybindings set to.
By default the game sets the movement buttons to WASD.

my special 1 is bound to "F" yet when i press F and W i am stuck in noclip. this has happened to this mod and "Apples Sit Mod" and i have deleted 3 characters so far because i cannot disable noclip. it stays in noclip even after death or uninstallation of the mod.

'Special 3 + up/down' to scale player size.

Please note:
The function keys for the Special 2 and Special 3 were removed in Starbound 1.0.
So I made a patch to put the bindings back in the control menu.
You need to rebind the keys before trying to use the functions.
Also, Special 1 is named "ActivateHeadTech" by default.
Go to the control menu and at the bottom of the player menu the keybindings will be found there.

That is something easier said than done.
It would require quite a bit of modding knowledge to make it work.
You could use the functions:
status.statusProperty("propertyName", defaultValueIfPropertyDoesNotExist)
status.setStatusProperty("propertyName")

So that distortionsphere lua could update the property with the active size value.
Then the walljump lua would retrieve this value and then adjust the walljump sensor accordingly.
