But everyone has their own opinions. Mine just don't jive with yours, in this matter. In which case, you can just ignore this mod.
Also, 'cause it's a video game. And not all units have to be lore friendly :)
why do these slayers have any armour at all
That's a grudgin'
Watever, Your Mod is working and really great. Thanks
There were no unit-breaking changes in the last few updates, but I reuploaded these packs to assuage anyone looking at dates. Is there something about these units that is not working?
Should be. These units are all additive, and I tried my best to make all of my unit names fairly unique to avoid conflicting with other mods. As with any other unit, once they are in, they are tough to pull back out.
Not a bad idea! That's actually fairly close to a story I had for a slayer troop that carries shields, but I couldn't find a fun way to justify why some slayers would dedicate themselves to becoming bullet sponges instead of proper aggro monster murderers.
That's why I stuck with the above story. It seems the only way a slayer could justify any kind of defense was because they were skirting the rules and more than slightly ashamed of that. They still do the kamikazie slayer thing as the rest of them (oath and all that), but they are better suited to breaking infantry lines and battling cavalry. Ironically, no more effective at battling the big monsters since all of them pack heavy armor peircing damage anyway.
Ungrim would likely agree! But they still took the oath. May as well make them useful...
Maybe they just want to take a few more enemies with them by wearing armor?
@Mystical Llama
Nice work!
can you also make ironbreakers with 2h axes and rifles Please :)
That's actually a really good idea. I'll make that change in the next iteration.
