ah my problem even with just the mod itself is whenever i get in the vehicle it falls and doesn't move then when i get out it teleports to where it would've been if i was on it and it moved

@FeepingCreature Can you please add unviversal SubtypeId to HoverRailEngine.cs Script?
Your script use only 2 SubtypeId for:
(
HoverRail_Engine_Large
HoverRail_Engine_Small_Small
)

Asking as i was planing to make "addon" to this mod with one special rail and 3x3x1 small grid engine.
Problem is that 3x3x1 engine will not work until i edit your HoverRailEngine.cs.
Then i must make another copy of your mod...

@HaowwMitch only way i know to limit something is use programing block scripts like Block_Manager that will watch the fimit you set and go down if you over do it with increase.

I've tested it some more and it looks like the mod works fine only with local games (no DS support). :/

Does this mod work on dedicated servers? I've been trying to run it and the train falls down on the tracks as soon, as I enter the seat, then it keeps shaking and bumping up and down.
It works great when hosted on local PC though...

Tested today. Mod still works and hope it will be vanilla. Wheels are very buggy / CPU heavy.

Hi, the mod is unmaintained but note that the large curved rails are not meant to be used for wide turns. Just put down a separate grid of straight rails close to the original rail to make a turn. The engine can transition between rails for a meter or two.

Hello. There are some feature requests I'd like to make. First could you possibly add much larger curved rails and junctions? I tried to make some models based on real trains, and one carriage on it's own can barely make it through the turn. However, multiple linked carriages cannot make it through. Another interesting feature that I think would be interesting (but not entirely sure possible), would be pantographs and overhead blocks that would transfer electricity. Finally, it would be cool if there was a railroad crossing that worked n conjunction to the modular roads mod.

any idea why it wouldn't work for me? it seems to work for mostly everyone else...

the hover engines don't do anything, I try to place the "ship" on the rails and it just drops like a brick, no matter what settings I use. It has power and everything is on (and it shouldn't be too heavy either, it's the very basic layout, a few batteries, hover engines, thrusters, a flight seat and some armor, the whole thing is like 20 blocks)

There should be an action for it. Try to add a console or control panel to the grid to trigger it.

From a Year ago a lot of the physics are a lot better, i been using this mod a lot for fun. with out any issues for the most part.

Sorry for aggressively ignoring the comments on this mod. I'm probably not going to be implementing any of the things asked for, because I haven't opened the game in over a year and I don't see much of a future for it because I have no trust in the devs to get the physics under control. As it stands, please consider this mod unmaintained. I'll add it to the description.
If someone wants to take it over, please raise an issue on Github.

Any plan adding 3x3 or 1x1 Small slim block version of MagLev engine? As if you want to use it as Capture / Launch rail for your small ships, you will soon experience that MagLev engine on small ship is bit bulky and weak, destroyed really easy.

i dont know what i make wrong but always wen i drop the train on the rail it gonna explode or is only jumping around i have 6 of the maglev engine and all are set to 1m and 100kn but they dont work in survival

when i copy a grid with the maglev engine on it, the settings of the engine dont save and revert to default. any way you can fix this?

There is a problem with your mod, after a while the whole physics don't function properly. All cars and ships are spinning forward till i restart the server.

I love this mod! Is there any way you can add like a 250 block length rail, or even longer for some awesome planetary rail systems or space elevators/deep core mining? I would LOVE a longer length! BTW I've been playing with this mod for a few years.
