Good work, man! But what parameter changes firing arc height? I see only max_elevation and muzzle_velocity, but its almost inaffective with dwarf grenades...

Fully agree - you need to take the full battlefield meta into account. Its a good variation on Irondrakes, thumbs up!

You can say the same thing about the Irondrake flamethrowers. These units don't perform as well against armorerd targets unless used en-masse, and they are singificantly less effective against cavalry. Both areas where the cannon excel.

Traditionally though, dwarven artillery is a little underpowered anyway imo.

Ultimately, it is your choice whether or not to use the unit. Personally, I prefer my Slayer Riveters for most engagements since they are giant-killers. Dwarves, particularly using Irondrake flamers, have never had a major problem with massed infantry. These guys are just fun ;)

There is literally a grudge in the game that puts the Dwarves into a pissing contest with the Empire over who has the best engineer :) It comes up in pretty much every Dwarf campaign I've played.

I'm just going with what the game provides. I've read some of the EU material around Warhammer, but not all of it.

dwarves dont really care about being outdone, it took a long time for them to impliment the handgun, and some dwarves still dont trust it, so i would make it you could only have one maybe

A - these are FANTASTIC and a great addition to lore-friendly units for dwarves (which are otherwise of poor quality or balance etc)

B- is there a possibility to roll all these up into a single unit pack for convenience? Not a big problem, just thought it would make things easier for those with lots of mods running at once.

C- keep it up and please! keep them updated, very worthy additions to the workshop!

Fixed. Should now be much more compatible with this (apparently) common name. My apologies to anyone whose game I screwed.

@Casval - Provided you do not have any active units from that mod in your game, you should be able to remove the mod. Unfortunately, it's a pretty good bet some of your AI opponents are using those units. So not really, no. Not without doing some save editing.

Sorry for the hassle. Any way for me to modify my save game so I don't need to use the outdated dodgy's back-up mod? (or is my save stuck with it?)

Yeah, it looks like they use the same unit name I used. I can fix it, but it may screw up anyone's save game who has already built some of these units.

oddly I seem to be getting a conflict with dodgy dwarf backup mod. problem is I can't continue the save game wthout the mod. any advice?
