Great and all but its quiet bizzare that their is no actual model of it ingame, at least not visable on soldiers wearing it, instead a normal frag grenade is shown.

Hello! Loved the Gravely Wounded Prosthetics mod you made recently and checked out some of the others you'd made.

I noticed that the UI icons for this mod were black-backgrounded targas without an alpha channel, making them appear off-model in comparison with XCOM 2's other icons, giving them a solid black rectangular bar in selection screens.

I've remade both icons, "EW_NeedleGrenade.tga" and "EW_NeedleGrenadeMk2.tga", to address these issues and repacked them into "UILibrary_APGrenades.upk". Now on the selection screens, the icons for AP Grenades will look like this:

Hmm, basic AP grenades have disappeared after buying a couple of Alloy grenades. I attempted to use console commands to add "rm_apgrenade" to try to get at least one to trigger their infinite status to no avail. Basic AP grenades still exist as they are still on some of my operative's inventory but removing them will make them lost forever (until I figure out a way to fix this). I'll attempt to fix this via disabling/enabling the mod. I don't really expect this to be the case but it doesn't hurt to ask, would this mod need to be in a specific load order?

This might be a bit of beating a dead horse, but can you make a more XCOM2-y icon for the AP Grenade? The Black background clips really wierdly in the Loadout screen.

The image have a black rect around it, why don't make those black part transparent?

At the start they are too good and at the end they are too bad so I'm changing my ini:

Base Frag: 3r, 3-4dam, -1armor, 10range. Can kill several 4hp 1armor enemies. Can also be spammed to remove armor if you face a tough enemy. 16-18PB
Mod Frag: 6r, 4-5dam, -0armor, 10range. Can kill many 5hp 0armor enemies. Only does 2-3 damage if enemies have armor. Can't widdle away armor. 18-21PB
ini-changed Frag: 6r, 5dam, -0armor, 8range. Does not kill an officer in 1 hit. Might only do 2 damage as above. 17-19PB

ini-changed Plasma: 6r, 7dam, -1armor, 8range. Does not kill a stunlancer in 1 hit. Can slowly remove armor. 21-22PB

What about "IENVIRONMENTDAMAGE = 0" ?

Ah wait apparently setting an item to be infinite isn't enough, there's one more .ini addition I have to do. I'll fix it later today.

In LW2? It should be buildable in the items menu once you have researched plasma grenades.

@Papers Please Guy They're meant for anti-personnel, and they wont do hardly any damage to armored enemies. I guess that's the trade off

hey i think its tga, but i am not sure. It bugs me too, because i am using tactical rigging mod and it looks stupid in soldier equippment with 4 slots. WOuld also be cool if you can make a own perk picture for the nade.

Hey Reality, do you know what it takes to get images have alpha transparency in X2? The icon for this mod not being transparent really bugs me. I'm willing to cut the background out myself and everything and send it to you. I just need to know what file type the image has to be saved it.

Grenades don't destroy corpses in XCOM2 vanilla, it only destroys loot boxes.

I just subscribed to this today. I am in mid-playthru and have not even built the proving ground yet, but I got alloy grenades instead of AP grenades.

I frigging love these. best AP Grenade shot so far? first Supply raid of my Campaign, first Viper seen with a bunch of troopers. I thud an AP over there expecting to just wound the Viper and kill the troopers.

Biggest Booms procs and wipes the entire pod out. mwahaha.

Resub several times, but still no images for AP grenades.
Maybe it cause by game language different... I don't know.

You have to start a new campain, it will be there then, and the do damage to units, and leave cover intact.So perfect to clear out advent, and leave cover for you to advance and use.

hmmm, AP grenades also didn't show up my on-going campaign... I just finished 3rd mission, before installing this mod, though.

@Pinto: won't hurt guys in cover, however, does more damage to biological units in a larger radius. basically, it's an Antipersonel Frag grenade, cover destroyers are High Explosive ones.

Just last night, I was thinking XCOM 2 could use the AP grenade from LW. Can't wait to try it out!
