Currently no plan to integrate the mod to TWW2 due to limited personal time...If any-one wants to edit and publish it for TWW2 it is ok with me, since it shall only require small changes in the db structure and some testing.

the mod still work after the norsca patch; the special capital models are kept as before without switching to tree model, which is not a bug and just a personal flavor thing...

This mod is great, but I have a question. The special capitals are not using the tree model, The model of the capitals are all the same as the model that before I occupyed it. It means the model of Altdorf is still the human's building after I occupyed it. Is that a bug? Do you know any way to fix it by myself?

Can you give minor settlements at least teir 2. you can only extract harbor and forget about collecting any bonus resource.

thank you for this mod. i can play wood elves normally, but the outpost system makes it extremely difficult to hold land or keep my economy off the endangered species list.

Neat mod, I think the mod description has a slight naming error though. It says, "3. Further added one elite bow unit to lv 1 waystone to slightly ease lack of garrison." However, I think you meant Worldroot Pathway not Waystone. I noticed Worldroot Pathway got an extra unit of Waywatchers but Waystone is untouched.

@OneEyeDireWolf Only outposts of major settlements can upgrade, not minor, and no plan to do minor outposts, sorry.
@PIXY_UNICORN Yes that can be done, and you can use PFM to change the garrison units for each building. But I am happy enough with the game balance so far and unlikely to change it here.

Well for visual distinguish purposes, I am not in favor of making minor outpost same as major ones. But you can edit yourself if you wish: get PFM, open the building pack, go into campaign_settlement_display_buildings_tables, look at building_key: outpost_1/2/3, change their column 3 and 4 to be the same as the column3 and 4 as settlement_major_2. Then all your minor outposes shall be trees.

Can you edit this mod so the minor settlements still have the tree model from kelstr's mod for minor lookouts or change it so we can upgrade them too look like them by making minor settlements reach tier 2 and gain that tree model?

No. Originally I intended to and thus left in db, but there is something preventing minor settlements to correctly upragde in game (cannot find which), so I took them out.

Thanks for this, are you going to be adding tier 2 minor settlements? I noticed the references in building_levels but nothing elsewhere. Would be great to have an additional building option for minor settlements, especially minor port settlements.

@Unnamed_Shadow what do you think i did, this mod was the one that crashed the game, the other ones I am subscribed to all worked like a dream, however this one is my favorite, because it makes you not have to build 20 stacks to defend your empire as the wood elves.

@Charlie. YW! Also thank god you don't have to re-compile data every patch. Some dudes that completely overhaul the game would go insane.

A useful tip for future patches is that if the main_units_table can't be read, that means the new patch f*cked all the tables. If you can open that table, there is hope you won't have to update everything. But if the simplest table can't open its going to suck.

what you could do is edit a single line on a table, then reverse changes to how it was via right click, save the mod, open total war launcher and update it. After that the total war launcher will handle the upload. Thats it, you updated it without updating it. That's what many modders are doing right now. Since this patch didn't mess as much tables as the others. It is as simple as that.

And to consulmcdonald dude, don't blame a single mod if you crash. What you do when you get a crash is disable all mods, and one by one test them until you hit the one that is giving you the crash. Then if all the mods worked, then its up to you to look for the tables that conflict and just delete the table that is messing up. Its a pain to do it, but on the plus side it might get you into modding, at least thats how i got into it.

well, once you enable out-of-dated mod in your launcher, add this mod in, it will work as intended.

I don't want to update the mod un-necessarily every time CA updates the game, simply because it is a waste of time to achieve nothing but eliminate the yellow icon...(because every time they update the base game, all previous mods, whether working or not, will shown as out-of-dated). But THIS MOD IS STILL WORKING and I have no problem running it after all.

If you still have crash after enabling out-of-dated mod, let me know :-)

@Charlie, dude for the love of the gods just update the damed mod, it has worked fine with all of my other mods, and they were all updated to be compatible with Bretonnia, and yet my campaign keeps crashing, everytime theres another patch for the game, you need to update your mods, so stop being argumentive and just update your mod, this isn't rocket science, its just called out-of-date hardware doesn't work with up-to-date hardware, so please update the mod, its the first day of march, Orion will be awakened soon, you don't want to incur the wrath of the wild hunt (and no thats not a threat, its an in-game joke).
@MustDy, no the mod affects all province capitals, you can just go up to tier 4 Asrai Lookouts on special capitals, Karak Eight Peaks, Castle Drakenof, Altdorf, etc, but with the non-special province capitals you can only go up to a Tier 3 Asrai Lookout.

It works for elves also, but affects only 4 capitals, without touching all other provinces when playing elves

get back from a long vacation, and quickly went through the comments to update the mod regarding the garrison dragon for special capitals, so it actually provides more dragon than replacing it by treeman

also this works for treeman as well, since they share same building system as real elves :-)

This mod doesn't really work. It gives me the option of upgrading the outposts on provincial capitals, but it requires a population surplus just like upgrading your main city. Well all provinces outside Athel Loren all have negative growth no matter what I do, so your mod is useless. I can't upgrade them at all since they all sit permanently at zero pop. Is there another Mod I need to go with this one to make it work?

I'd also like to see tree archers (like thorny trees shooting their thorns) and artillary (like trees lobbing stones) if you're able :P
I really do like the trees and don't like elves in my army.
But, I do believe elf lives matter.

Is it just me, or are there others, who crash when AI attack yours Settlements and you want to play the game out for yourself?

and I use only a few mobs, and I have tried to take them out
