I actually like this combat mod better than other ones. I just wanted my pawns with "professional" skill level to stop missing a target 30 times.

Update: All Vanilla Expanded mods have been patched except some custom patches done by one of their mods. Will patch that as well later.

Everything has been re-balanced.

I've also coded some software that helps me patch mods way faster so now you can expect patches way more often.

Report any inconsistencies or bugs or you have found.

Update: Version 1.2 and older will now patch the speed the old way, without using Projectile Speed Booster.
Also removed Projectile Speed Booster from dependencies. It will still show up on steam but won't actually require it in game.

Thanks for reporting, I have not tested it with 1.2. I'm assuming that it only works with 1.3. I'll make the mod patch the old way on 1.2 and older in a bit.

For me personally requiring Projectile Speed Booster is a downgrade. Projectile Speed Booster crashes for me with:

System.MissingMethodException: void Verse.Log.Message(string)

Update:
This mod will not change the speed of projectiles any more. For that Projectile Speed Booster will be required. Do let me know if some modded weapons do not get patched by the required mod.

The reason for this is that a lot of people seem to only want the bullet speed to be increased without the other changes. In addition, it indirectly increases compatibility for this mod as unpatched mods should at the very least feel better with the faster projectiles.

I still have the patches with speed changes as a backup, so if the other mod causes some problems, I can revert to the old way of patching speed.

Haven't tried it so cannot say.

All this mod does is use patches to change weapon stats inside of the xmls. If that mod does not change how gun stats are stored, it should work fine. Otherwise I can't guarantee anything.

Hi, I noticed that chain shotgun and pump shotgun have weird high armor penetration (both of them have 80%) that's quite a lot (the charge shotgun only have 35% armor pen). I'm not sure if it's intended or not :leaCheese:

this amazing, i hope u extend more and do balance a bit,because modded rimworld introduce plenty weapon option ( some weapon like default vanilla LMG so weak)

i love the way my sniper 1 hit pleb in rimworld, very satisfying

What this mod does to the chain shotgun is hilarious. It literally becomes the most powerful weapon in the game. Give this to a raider, wait 4 seconds and all of my colonists are dead or downed.

If you had the time it would be nice to have this change damages for other mod's weapons like apex, halo, and project armoury. Having a giant arsenal of all different weapons of all different kinds and be able to be ripped up by them would be awesome!
