The third person muzzle flash actually is turn about 90 degrees to the left.
That aside, I'm fine with the cookie-cutter animations since most of them don't really need to change and work for any weapon, (shove, draw, etc.) but the only one that does not sit well with me is the idle animation, it makes me feel like a robot, I don't know, something about it is just wrong.
It's been years. But it's finally happened.
Beautiful AK
Can't wait to see what weapon you release next!
Nearing 2K hours on this game after years of playing it and I'm just glad someone is still putting in the time and effort to improve the standards of the animations/viewmodels that Valve kinda dropped the ball on when the game shipped.
Also that's pretty damn impressive, but I suppose I wouldn't worry too much about sticking to the 51 FOV if it's too much of an obstacle when all your animations are gonna be part of a set anyway.
But definitely looks damn close to the CS viewmodel which is also more similar to your blender render, so good job!

Comparing it to the screenshot in CS:GO:

If there's no way to match the viewmodel exactly like it is in blender then would it at least be possible to make it more similar to the way it is in CSGO

If not then don't worry about it, it's still a lot better
But aside from my opinion, as long as it looks more in line with your original vision and what you wanted then all is good.

This is a comparison image I created real fast to better display the differences between what's currently here on the workshop and what's going to replace it once I ship the update. This will affect the M16s, too, of course.

Looks much nicer than the default M16. Thanks for showing me that, the author has no issues with me using it so long as I credit him.
On a side note, I'll probably release the M16 animations with the two models as separate submissions: The primary one being for this much nicer looking M16, and a second one being the one I used in the render that is almost directly the stock M16 (just higher poly and some additional lazy texture maps)
Will probably leave this where it is (and upload the mod) unless anyone has any suggestions for changes. I would do textures but I'm terrible with textures. I'm considering ripping the CS:GO M4A4 model to replace this one, mostly because of the far superior textures but also partially for the model. Might rip it and render anyway just to see how it would look.
For reference, on low settings, this laptop barely manages 60 frames, and that's if there's nothing going on. During hordes, it drops to around 30 if there's that much.
