Sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. I was so frustrated with the telporting mod, I stopped playing for a while!

Yes I has about 20 other mods installed and they all appear to be working just fine.
I wasn't aware, until now about using the console to check if the mod was activated, I'll try that soon. Thanks for responding to my cry for help. TBC!!!!

Ok, Just a check. You are using the SE version of the mod and game? The one where you have to start skyrim SE and log into Bethesda to enable or disable mods? Are you using the PC version of skyrim se? If yes open up a save file with the mod enabled and activate the console by pressing the '~' key. With the console open type the following: help "Teleport ring" if nothing comes up the mod is not activated or downloaded correctly.

I see the pic, showing where the chest should be, but I've never seen the chest in the game. As far as I can tell the mod is properly loaded. It shows up in my library with a check mark, as do all the other mods I've added.

Additional info to my cry for HELP. I downloaded the mod version found in the special edition add mod list popups, so I hope that is the correct version to be used.

The SE version of this should have a picture displayed in the mod selection screen that shows where the chest is located. Inside the chest is a book you need to read. Owning the home is not needed. If the chest hasn't appeared it may mean you haven't actually set the mod to load.

HELP!!! I am playing the special edition and I just added this mod. My problem is the ring is not located in a chest around back of Breezehome, at least not for me. Is there more to getting the chest to appear with the ring? I own the home.

That is the main reason I made it. That and the fact it gets boring trudging back and forth between some of the towns for minor quests.

It's proving to be extremely handy for teleporting back to my houses when I'm almost overburdened.

It'll probably be totally fine. The mod isn't set up to allow all rings on either right or left hand; instead, the mod adds left-hand rings as a separate equip, and puts them in the loot tables so you can find them randomly.

In any case, I haven't broken it yet, so that's something.

The ring is set up to auto unequip after teleport. I haven't used Left Hand Rings, but I guess the it should be fine so long as you only equip it in the vanilla ring slot. I'm interested in what you find out.

Yes it will, although there wont be any specific location you can teleport to. You will only be able to use the recall teleport option.

Yes, but it's not possible to have a plug-in reference another plug-in. Also, this is a magic ring, thus it is not technically fast travel, but instant travel.

If you could combine a ring like this with Didymus Ei's Bat Travel (https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=87381891) , the two together would be an epic but balanced fast-travel effect! Transforming into bats to fast-travel, vampire or not, is just plain awesome.

@Chopped Apples: I need to work on the obtaining script, but you should be able to buy a spell book called teleport key. When you read the book you get a key and a small chest appears on the table. The ring is in there.

@tcmaxwell2: No, fast travel takes game time and won't work in buildings or dungeons. The ring instantly moves you to the city or saved location you choose from anywhere. Thus the caution about quest breaking.

I will try your new system I had a complete crash and had to delete all of my games mods then restart all over. Not fun for me. I am working on other mod configuers play them. See how they work in a pinch or for Laptop configs. Some things do not work out.

Also, this new system should be completly compatable with mod homes, as it moves its own reference to keep track of the locations.

I guess I should have put more of a warning in the update and bug sections. The old Teleport to Mark ring and Teleport Plate will no longer work. Neither will the old Teleport to City ring. You shouldn't have to unsubscribe to get the new scripts or remove the old rings and plate. You just need to remove and then add the Teleport to City ring through the console '~' key as I said in Update 2.0.
I'm not sure why your Mark ring and Plate didn't disappear when you updated the mod. They should have just been removed from your inventory.

I just has a system crash when I tryed to use the rings I have Uninstalled the rings but it won't reinstall them.

I have the old set how do I get the new set? I am still new to Mods changing formats. Also when I put the plate down in another Mod home. Ie Luckys home bulit I was teleport to whiterun Farengars place. Wow that was neet to see happen. Let people know can not be used in non game areas.

Change the Travel to the stables or the place just right of the Carrige outside of the town. About Teleport back look at Dovokin Where house program. They have some thing like what you said rember last place

Thanks for the input on the teleport plate, but I'm thinking of just removing it entirely and coming up with something that remembers the last place you teleported from.
Also, I've been meaning to fix the travel rings to prevent you from teleporting to a city you haven't visited yet, but I've not pinned down the exact value I'd need to check for.
Also, work hasn't allowed me to do much modding for the last few months.

About the plate issue the game warring is don't leave anything in containers that are not in your own home or they can be taken within one game hour. Idea about the plate is have a follower hold on to the plate outside the dungen or just inside it. or put in a place that you want to go like player home to get there quick.

Ideas a about the system crashes The start of a city each has a problem that you must see before the game continues. Riften ex: The guard at the north face you must get the shake down before enter the town. I fyou telport into Riften before this the game will crash.

Farengar should not be killable. He should just get right back up again.
If that doesn't work, use the console to look for the spell tome "Teleport Key".

Yes these rings are based on that book (the magicians nephew). However, they don't portal to a garden world. They just give you options to teleport places. Sadly, there is a bug with the teleport to mark ring that means the teleport plate gets lost if you leave it some where too long.

is this based off the first narnia book the machians nephew where one ring brings to a forest where ther are portals to diffrent worlds and the other brings back i do really like that book if youve never read the bokk read it and you understand what im talking about if you dont

@Untark Jakalvar: Actually I did get the idea from there. I just changed it so the rings skipped the lobby area from the Magicians Nephew.
