I am planning to, current invasion triggers are not working properly, so they will be rolled back, it's too easy now when you are fully prepared.

There will be no more invasions if you already had triggered the A's arrival with this mod.
There seems to be some randomness involved, latest I've had the spawning is 193

compositions are default, nothing is touched besides the fact that stacks have more units when spawning in, so theoretically there is more variety

Yes, I know, there is a coop issue. Besides the usual declare war on WOC as soon as they spawn, can't help with that. As mod just changes values from vanilla without messing with script itself I can't see how it can possibly break the game.
No, it does not edit startpos. It edits just chaos invasion script, and a minor way - only changing listed values, everything else is untouched, so it shouldn't cause any issues. Scaling i just the number of armies, VH is 14/55.
Think of it as more as a survival, like WRE in Attila. Build walls, build armies to man those walls alongside the garrisons. Fight defensive siege battles to take out as many enemies as possible, while using "main" armies with lighting strike to take out one enemy stack at a time and retreat with marching stance. Some defenses you can actually win, especially in region capitals with upgraded towers and take out several stacks per battle. Hopefully you can defeat enough stacks before Chaos burns it's way to your capital. Obviously, some factions are easier, like Dwarfs, while VC are much harder.
I know I should spam armor piercing. Presumbly building up your economy and walls before you get to imperium 16 or turn 230 is mandatory?
Thank you very much for your quick answer, but i'm quite sure we both are already at war with chaos since we were fightings their waves from the beginning of their arrival. I'll try to check out though and let you know.
I assume it's the generic co-op issue, you just need both players to declare war on Chaos Warriors before Big A arrives, just after the first wave for example.
If anyhting, a longer delay before that 30 stack hits would be a lot better because 200 turns is still not enough time to prepare against 30 stacks.
It is supposed to be hard. I'd add even more stacks, but it gets rather repetetive.

It probably should, it does not change the invasion script. I guess it will also be quite hard.

It will hopefully get better with next expansion(s). I actually tried re-creating a Call of Warhammer type of invasion, but the possibilities are rather limited.
itherway, ime hoping someone hacks or they fucking give us the map tools.. and we can finaly create middle earth, propper warhammer map, and fix fucking atilla too.
Also, Proper Chaos Invasion has more stacks, and I didn't find it particallary easy to defeat as VC, so that was tonned down. Anyway, please let me know when the invasion triggered for you, I might have to move it further a bit and/or increase stacks number to keep it challenging.
I've always been torn about the Chaos Invasion... even with the "Proper Chaos Invasion" mod, they're lacklustre and easily stopped. Other than giving their units better stats, I don't know how to make them challenging. I'll give this mod a shot, see how it goes.
