Yeah the issue was that Long War of the chosen removes the ability to remove burning through hunkering. I used that little script you made and rebuilt it for wotc, it's working fine now. Thank you very much for your work!

If you want to mod for WOTC i suggest checking my Abilities Tweak WOTC mod it has a lot of code for various situations

This mod as is is not WOTC compatible. Also WOTC already integrates this behaviour by default.

Would this work with LWOTC, as it restores vanilla XCom 2 behaviour? I was looking to create a mod specifically to change it back to WOTC behaviour but I first wanted to ask whether that would be neccessary. I'm also new to modding, so I can't tell from the source files of this mod. Would I need to change anything about the script?

Now all we need is a version that tells mind-controlled or simply enemy units to use Hunker Down to extinguish themselves. Got screwed over when one of mine was on a truck, got mind-controlled, and then the truck blew up, lighting them on fire. I had to watch them slowly burn to death over 4 turns while they did nothing.

@Dragon32 Reality's implementation is the same as Melancholia's, so it still won't work anymore. And I dont know why honestly, this is the same code that cleans it from soldiers when they get in water, but without the water check.

Hey, ADVENT Avenger. Reality Machina's More Default Soldier Abilities also includes the Stop, Drop and Roll functionality. Maybe looking at that would help?

Yes it works. I'm considering finding a way to disable the fire animation completely to fix the problem as an option.
